JEE Main Important Topics for Mathematics

1. To find out most scoring topics in Mathematics, one may refer to the Weightage Quadrant drawn below.

2. Weightage Quadrant distinguishes the high weightage topics with low weightage topics and also suggest whether the topic needs nominal efforts or additional efforts on the part of aspirant before attaining a functional mastery over the topic.

For example: Fourth quadrant (high weightage & low effort) exemplifies the topics of great importance which can be learnt with relatively less efforts. Although this quadrant theory may vary from one aspirant to another, it gives a general idea about the order of priority in which the topics should be placed at.

Topics in the fourth quadrant should be learnt compulsorily. Then, topics in first & third quadrant and at last the topics in the second quadrant.

If I cant produce ews certificate then what will be the status of my candidature. What are the docoments required to upload at jossa registration. Is fresh registration required for Jee Mains 2020 April session, and if it mismatch with January 2020 then...

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019

to claim ews reservation it is mandatory to submit asset and income certificate. many people has applied for ews certificate and still did not get it.

if at the time of counselling you do not have ews you may show the income and asset certificate. still instructions is not clear about this.

if your jee main January session goes bad, you may re appear in April session, and you need to separately apply for it.

if you want to apply in both session you have to mention it at the time of first time registration. between the two better score will be considered.

What is Jee main qualifying mark in 2020? for pwd candidate

_Abhishek_Vatsya Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019

Cuttoff score of any category depends upon level of paper.. Cuttoff can be predicted after analysing Jee mains paper  and JEE MAINS 2020 EXAMINATION will conduct on January..So patiently wait till EXAMINATION gets over..But you can take 40+ score as safe score for getting seats in NITs..

Ask if any query..

i am only studying for JEE MAINS not for advance and my main focus is april attempt,so plz suggest me some strategy and tips for april attempt as well as january attempt.and plz important chapters also

Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019

Its good that you are focused on the attempt which you want to give and i want you to keep you focus razor sharp and that's what is needed to get a good rank.Just have a good strategy, work on your weakness and clear all your doubts.Solve oast year question papers and mocks either online or offline.
Also take care of your health and try to be positive all the time.Dont rush and panic just be calm and collected and focus on studies.

Here are some chapters that are important :

Complex Number , Quadratic Equations

Coordinate Geometry (straight line, circle and conic section )

Calculus ( function, application of derivatives, definite integration are most important part in calculus )

3-D and vector

bionomial theoem and Sequences and Series

Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure

Chemical Thermodynamics

Inorganic Chemistry ( most important part for jee main )

Organic Chemistry( xiith class oganic chemisty is more imporant, full scoring )

Polymers and Bio Molecules

Environmental Chemistry

Chemistry in Everyday Life

Current Electricity

Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism

Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents

Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation,Atoms and Nuclei

Oscillations and Wave

I hope this helps.

How many marks should i get to qualify in JEE mains 2020 Exam

Anupam Kumar Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019

Hey there

Cutoff can only be predicted after seeing the toughness of the question so at this time predicting the cutoff is of no use. Also do not think of just clearing the cutoff as if you'll just clear the cutoff then also you'll not get any good colleges. So try score atleast more than 130+ for good colleges.
