MHT CET Exam Pattern 2027: The Maharashtra State CET Cell will publish the MHT CET exam pattern 2027 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the latest exam pattern, there will be a total of 150 questions in the MHT CET question paper, of which 50 questions for each subject, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, are covered. Candidates must be aware of the Maharashtra CET syllabus and exam pattern while preparing for the exam. The MHT CET exam will be likley be held in two sessions in online mode.

The Maharashtra CET exam is considered to be one of the toughest entrance exams. The difficulty level of the MHT CET exam is on par with that of JEE Main. Looking at the previous trends of the exam paper and the difficulty level of questions asked, the current year paper will be moderately tough and will be similar to the JEE Main paper. Hence, candidates should also attempt the JEE Main question papers during preparation.
Maharashtra CET 2027 will be held for three hours as a computer-based test.
MHT CET question paper will comprise two sections- Physics & Chemistry, and Mathematics.
It must be noted that for the first 90 minutes, only section 1, i.e. Physics & Chemistry, will be active, and after the completion of 90 minutes, the section will be automatically closed. After this, candidates will have to attempt the Mathematics section in the next 90 minutes.
Candidates will not be allowed to switch between sections.
MHT CET paper will have multiple-choice questions.
There is no negative marking in the MHT CET exam.
MHT CET question paper 2027 will be prepared based on the syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the 11th standard syllabus and 80% to the 12th standard syllabus while setting the question paper.
CET passing marks out of 200 are 45 % for the general category, and for the reserved category, MHT CET passing marks are 40%.
Candidates are advised to choose the medium/language of the exam carefully while submitting the MHT CET application form as the language selected at that time cannot be changed later.
Maharashtra State CET will upload the MHT CET syllabus 2027 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the latest syllabus, the MHT CET 2027 question paper will be based on the Class 11th and 12th Syllabus. Candidates have to focus on the entire syllabus of Class 12th syllabus for their MHT CET preparation, while a few topics will be included from the Class 11th syllabus. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Class XI, and 80% weightage will be given to the Class XII curriculum. Candidates can download the MHT CET 2027 syllabus PDF and look at the Maharashtra CET chapter-wise weightage to get a better idea about the exam and practice the MHT CET previous year question paper.

MHT CET 2027 will mostly consist of two sections - Mathematics and Physics & Chemistry.
The difficulty level of the Mathematics section will be at par with the JEE Main exam. However, for Physics and Chemistry, the difficulty level will be at par with NEET.
As per the MHT CET syllabus, 20% weightage will be given to Class 11th syllabus and 80% to Class 12th syllabus while setting the MHT CET question paper.
The total time duration of MHT CET will be 180 minutes (90 minutes for each paper).
Candidates will be allotted 2 marks for each correct answer in the Mathematics section. On the other hand, in the Physics and Chemistry section, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. In addition to this, there will be no negative marking in the MHT CET exam.
The Physics & Chemistry section will be active for the first 90 minutes followed by Mathematics for the next 90 minutes. No, you will not be allowed to switch between the sections.

Hello,
MHT-CET is a computer based test conducted only at allotted exam centers, not from home or personal PCs, Students from outside Maharashtra can appear for the exam at selected centres during application. Non-Maharashtra candidates usually can't claim state quota seats through CAP and often use JEE Main scores instead.

As per the MHT CET syllabus 2024 with weightage PCM and PCB prescribed by the Maharashtra CET Cell, 20 percent weightage is given to the Class 11 topics and the remaining 80 percent to the Class 12 topics of the Maharashtra board.
