With a JEE rank of 70,744, you may be eligible for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in various state engineering colleges depending on the state and category. States like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan offer CSE programs in their state universities or colleges with such a rank. Private colleges such as Shiv Nadar University, UPES Dehradun, and Amity University also have CSE branches and may consider your rank for admission. Check individual college cutoff trends for more accurate details.

With a CRL rank of 131,456 in JEE, getting a seat in top NITs or IIITs for highly competitive branches like Computer Science or Electronics may be difficult. However, you might have a chance for admission to lower-ranked NITs or IIITs in less competitive branches. You can also consider applying through state quotas or explore other government engineering colleges. Participating in counseling rounds and being flexible with branch preferences will increase your chances of securing a seat.

Based on a JEE Mains score of 108 marks, you may be able to secure admission to some NITs (National Institutes of Technology) or state engineering colleges, but it would likely be for less competitive branches. Top institutes like IITs or popular NITs may be out of reach with this score. Your chances will depend on the category you belong to (e.g., General, OBC, SC), the overall difficulty of the exam, and the number of applicants in that year.

HELLO DEAR,
To determine your eligibility for JEE Advanced you need to meet a few criteria especially when it comes to the qualifying marks and the eligibility criteria for different categories
1. JEE mains percentile:
63 percentile in JEE Main is a bit low when it comes to the general category cutoff however since you belong to the SC category the cutoff percentile will be lower for you.
for SC candidates the minimum percentile required to qualify for JEE advanced can vary each year, it has been around 50-55 percentile in JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
2.
Eligibility criteria for SC candidates:
to be eligible for JEE advanced SC candidates need to:
appear for and qualify in JEE Main.
be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates including all categories who qualify in JEE Main.
if your JEE Main percentile is 63 it is likely that you are in the top 2.5 lakh candidates but this also depends on the specific years cutoff .
3. Steps to check eligibility:
If you are among the top 2.5 lakh candidates then with your 63 percentile, you should be eligible for JEE advanced.
you will need to check the official JEE Main result and the cutoffs for the current year to confirm whether you have qualified for JEE Advanced.

Hello Vaibhav,
You're in a good spot with a 97 percentile and solid IIIT/NIT/BIT Mesra options.
If your aim is software/tech industry (coding, product, startups, placements): opt for CSE at any of the IIITs at Dharwad, Ranchi, Bhagalpur or Manipur. Even tier-3 IIITs (CSE) will lead to better placements and internship opportunities in software roles than core branches at NITs. These will lead to better ROI than core branches, due to the tech placements and remote work.
Your next best option: IIIT ECE at Sri City or Una (ECE at Sri City has good industry engagement since it is close to Chennai & tech parks).
