KCET Application Form 2019: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) closed the KCET application form on March 20. The KEA also provided the facility of editing/correction of KCET 2019 application form from May 1 to 5. Students were also previously provided with application correction facility from March 21 to April 1. The procedure of filling KCET application form 2019 included steps like registration, entering personal, academic details, uploading of required documents, payment of fees etc. However, before proceeding towards filling of KCET 2019 application form, candidates had to check and meet the eligibility criteria. To appear for KCET exam, it was mandatory for candidates to qualify 12th standard examination. Also, if candidates commit any error while filling the application form of KCET 2019, they don’t need to worry. KEA will provide the correction facility from March 19 to 25 during which candidates can rectify there error. To know more about KCET 2019 application form, it’s filling process, fee payment, last date etc. KEA, Karnataka declared KCET 2019 result on May 25, 2019. Candidates at first were required to register for the exam. Mentioned below are the steps which had to be followed to fill the KCET 2019 application form:
Step 1- Registration
To register for KCET 2019, candidates had to follow given below steps:
Click on the registration click
Click on ‘New User’.
Read the instructions carefully and proceed further by clicking on ‘Proceed to Apply Online’
Students who are appearing in their 2PUC exam had to enter the 13 digits ‘Student Number’ issued from PUE Department
Click on ‘Submit’ tab
Once followed the above steps, candidates had to enter following details to register for KCET 2019:
Date of Birth
Valid mobile number and email ID
Re-enter the password to confirm
Secret question and answer to it
After entering all of the details in the registration form, click on submit button, Once the candidate was successfully registered for KCET, application number and user-id were sent on the mobile number and email-id.
Step 2- Log-in to Fill KCET 2019 Application Form
With the help of newly generated email-id and password, the candidates had to log-in and fill the following details:
Family’s annual income (in Rs.)
Caste/Category/Income Certificate Number (if applicable)
Caste List of OBC/SC/ST Category (if applicable)
Select eligibility clause code
Select KCET 2019 exam centre (in order of preference)
Details of qualifying exam like exam qualified, University/Board name, School name (if Karnataka CBSE/CISCE), whether appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2018 (Science)?, PUC Student Number (if applicable)
Year of Passing (if applicable)
Eligibility to Claim Reservation or not.
Total Number of Completed Years of Study in Karnataka (From 1st to 12th standard)
Whether studied in Rural Area of Karnataka from 1st to 10th standard?
Whether studied in Kannada Medium from 1st to 10th standard?

After entering all the details, review it, edit or update, if required and once done, the candidates had to click on ‘Save and Next’ tab.
Stage 3 – Upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature Thumb Impression
Uploading of the requisite photograph, signature, and left thumb impression in prescribed format and dimensions had to be done.

After uploading images, the declaration tab had to be clicked and then the details had to be submitted. Students had to check all the details carefully before finally submitting the KCET 2019 application form. Students were directed to the payment page after the submission of form.
Step 4 – Payment of KCET 2019 Application Fee
The application fee of KCET 2019 could be paid either in offline (through E-challan) or online (net banking/credit card/debit card) mode. The last date for payment was March 21, 2019. Given below is the category-wise fees that candidates had to pay:

Payment through e-challan - To pay in offline mode, candidates had to select the bank and download the challan. Candidates had to pay fee at branches of State Bank of India or ICICI Bank.
Step 5- Submit & take Printout of KCET 2019 Application Form
After completing above steps, verify all the information and submit it online. Also, candidates had to download the KCET application form 2019 and get it attested by Principal of the class 12th or PU of the institute/school/college studied or where the candidate were currently studying or by any Gazetted Officer. Apart from this, candidates had to make sure that they take out two-three print out of downloaded filled in KCET application form 2019.
Note: It was a must for candidates to download and get the KCET 2019 application form attested.
How to Retrieve Password
In case candidate forget his/her password, follow the mentioned below steps to retrieve it:
Click on ‘Forgot Password’ link
Then click on the link to create a new password
Enter details like User ID, KCET 2019 application number, secret question, answer and security code
Click on ‘Submit’ tab.
A window will appear, create new password by entering User ID and application number:

Confirm new password
Click on submit
The new password will be sent to candidate's registered email ID and mobile number.
KCET 2019 Application Form Correction Facility
Candidates have been provided with a last chance of application form correction facility from May 1 (5 PM) to May 5 (5:30 PM), 2019. Previously, the correction facility window was open from March 21 to April 1, 2019. During this period, candidates were able to rectify their errors committed in the KCET application form 2019 . However, candidates were not able to edit all information.
Q. Will KCET 2019 application form be available in offline mode?
Ans: No. The KCET application form 2019 is available only in online mode.
Q. I made a mistake while filling the CET application form. What should I do?
Ans. You don’t need to worry about it. KEA will open the correction facility of KCET 2019 from March 21- 25 for all the registered candidates. During this period your will be able to modify the submit your application form.
Q. How can I pay the application fees of KCET 2019?
Ans: The candidates could pay the application fee of CET 2019 either through online or offline mode (Bank Challan).
Q. I am not able to upload the scanned documents?
Ans: All of the documents to be uploaded will be scanned according to the specifications mentioned by the official authorities
