KCET Registration 2026 - The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will begin the KCET 2026 registration process tentatively from January 2026. Interested candidates can complete the KCET registration on the website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Applicants will have to ensure their eligibility before applying for the Karnataka CET. The authority is expected to conduct the KCET 2026 exam in April 2026. Those who complete the KCET registration and pay the application fee will be issued the KCET hall ticket.

Candidates have to pass in 2nd PUC/Class 12th/equivalent exam from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology to be eligible for KCET 2026.

Candidates needs to fill out the KCET registration form 2026 in two stages. The first stage consists of filling and editing the form, while the second stage includes confirmation and submission of the same. It should be noted that the KCET application form is available only in online mode. Candidates can check the steps to fill out the KCET 2026 application form below.
Step 1 - KCET 2026 Registration: Candidates can register for KCET 2026 by providing details such as SSLC register number, SSLC Passing year, guardian name, mother's name, email, contact number, and password.

Step 3 - Filling of the KCET Form: Next, the candidates have to fill in the required details in the CET application form as per the documents that they possess. All information has to be valid.

Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Images: Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression, along with their parents’ signature of left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. The images must be in the required format and size.
Step 5 - Submission of Form: Finally, candidates have to review all of the details submitted, and corrections can be done by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form’ button. Candidates have to accept the declaration and finally submit the KCET 2026 application form.
The printout of the KCET application form 2026 has to be attested by the School Principal or PU of the institute/school/college studied or currently studying, or by any Gazetted Officer. Candidates are required to produce this attested KCET application form at the counselling session.
In case the candidates forget their application number, they are advised to check their registered email address. If the application number is still not found, then they have to contact the KCET authorities at keauthority-ka@nic.in. Their helpline number 080 - 23 460 460 can also be contacted.

KEA will commence the KCET form correction process online. It's unlikely you'll get a veterinary college in Bangalore with a KCET rank of 5000, even with the ST caste and CRPF quota, as the general cutoff is often around 1200, and even special category quotas typically don't extend that far.

Yes, you can attempt the KCET exam next year as well if you feel to score better to get better college as long as you meet the eligibility criteria of KCET.
Make sure you are comfortable to bear the consequences of dropping after one year like loss of one year studies and problems while getting fees refund (depends on your college).
