KCET Result 2020 - Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release KCET 2020 result tentatively in the fourth week of May in online mode. Candidates will be able to access the result of KCET 2020 by logging in using their registration number. Subject wise and total scores secured by the candidate in the entrance examination will be present in KCET result 2020 along with other details. The official marking scheme will be taken into account while preparing the result of KCET 2020. One mark will be awarded to each correct answer and there will be no negative marking. Since there are a total of 180 questions, the total marks will be 180. After the calculation is completed, the total will be the score secured by the candidates.
The candidates will be able to challenge the released result of KCET 2020 by following the given process:
The result has to be challenged by the candidates within three days of declaration. To challenge the result, the authorities have to be informed.
The discrepancies in the result can get solved by the authorities if the candidates raise their objection within the allotted timeline.
The authorities will check the objection and reveal the final result later.
Candidates will be able to raise objection in case of the following issues; qualifying examination marks, missing rank on KCET 2020 result or incorrectly marked version code of KCET question paper.
It should be noted that the result of KCET 2020 will be announced only in online mode. No other mode will be used by the authorities.

Candidates are advised to check all of the details present in the result for any discrepancies.
In case of any mistakes in the result, the candidates will also be able to raise objections which will be checked by the authorities.
Based on the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance examination, the authorities will prepare the merit list of KCET 2020. The scores secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in KCET 2020 and qualifying examination (10+2) will be taken into consideration at the ratio of 50:50 while the merit list is prepared. Based on the scores, the ranks will be allotted to the candidates which will be revealed through the result of KCET 2020.

After the result of KCET 2020 is announced, the qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process. Verification of documents have to be done and the candidates will have to fill their choice of courses and colleges in the order of preferences. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank, preference and availability of seats. After the allotment is done, the candidates will have to confirm their admission by reporting to their allotted institute and paying the fee.
