MHT CET 2026: State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has commenced the MHT CET 2026 registration from January 10. Candidates can apply for session 1 or both sessions through the MHT CET application form 2026 link at cetcell.mahacet.org. It is mandatory to get the Aadhaar and APAAR ID verified through DigiLocker for MHT CET 2026 registration. The MHT CET exam centres for 2026 will be within the state of Maharashtra only. The revised application fee is Rs 1300 (general) and Rs 1000 (reserved). The last date to apply for the test is February 12, 2026. As per the latest report on January 21, a total of 1.078 lakh candidates have registered for MHT CET 2026 PCM, and 53,176 for MHT CET 2026 PCB. The MHT CET exam is from April 11 to 19 (PCM) and April 21 to 26 (PCB), in session 1.

January 9, 2026: The MHT CET 2026 registration date is announced. MHT CET 2026 exam centres will be available across Maharashtra only.

January 6, 2026: The common Maharashtra CET 2026 exam portal has been launched for basic candidate registration and sign-in.

December 31: According to the news report, The MHT CET 2026 registration will be released on January 1, 2026.

December 22- Notice asking candidates to update their Aadhaar details, along with the generation of APAAR ID has been released. PwD applicants can upload the UDID card, apart from the disability certificate. Also, they must prove details of two scribes during the MHT CET registration 2026.

December 18 - MHT CET 2026 registration fee has been increased. The registration of MHT CET 2026 will be based on Aadhaar/APAAR details. The seat acceptance fee will be more for later rounds. A mock counselling round will be held from this year onwards.

Students should clear their 10+2 with subjects including maths, physics, chemistry, and biology to be eligible for the MHT CET exam 2026. MHT CET Exam Centres 2026

MHT CET Cell has announced that the exam will be held only within the state. The authority conducts the MHT CET 2026 exam across all 36 districts of Maharashtra. The MHT CET exam was conducted in almost 226 centres across Maharashtra in the previous session. Candidates have to select their district and centre to attend the MHT CET 2026 examination. The MHT CET exam centre details will be provided through the admit card. MHT CET exam centres will not be available in different states outside Maharashtra. Last year, they were available in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

The authority of Maharashtra’s CET Cell will conduct two types of exams, the PCB group exam and the PCM group exam in MHT CET 2026. The MHT CET syllabus will be 20 percent from Class 11th and 80 percent from Class 12th. Along with the syllabus, candidates must also be aware of the MHT CET exam pattern. For Mathematics, 2 marks for each question, and for physics, chemistry, and biology, 1 mark for each question. And there is no negative marking.
