IISER Counselling 2023 - Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research will conduct the IISER 2023 counselling in online mode. The authorities will announce the provisional admission offers for round 8 for SCB / JEE / KVPY channel. IISER Counselling 2023

Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Thiruvananthapuram conducts the admission process from three channels - JEE, SCB and KVPY. The authorities prepares the separate merit list for each channel including IISER aptitude test qualified candidates. Candidates who will be a part of the IISER merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling of IISER 2023. Steps to participate in IISER 2023 counselling

Step 1- Filling the application form- Firstly, candidates will have to fill and submit the online IISER application form on or before the last date. It should be noted that there are separate application forms for each channel of IISER 2023 admission.

Step 2- Choice filling - While filling the application form, candidates will also have to fill in their choices of courses and institutes in order of their preference. Candidates should fill in their choices carefully as the seats will be allotted on the basis of the choices filled by them.

Step 3- Reporting for document verification - In the next step of IISER counselling 2023, candidates will have to report at the allotted centres in order to get their documents verified. Candidates should make sure that they carry all the relevant documents with them as failing which will lead to disqualification of candidature.

Documents required at the time of IISER counselling 2023

Candidates who are allotted seats have to report to the allotted institute as per the schedule. The list of documents which students need to carry are given below

• Admit card of JEE Advanced/ KVPY/SCB

• Passing certificate and marksheet of class 10th

• Passing certificate and marksheet of class 12th

• Original and photocopy of the counselling letter

• Scorecard of JEE Advanced, KVPY, and IISER

• Recent passport size coloured photograph

• Category certificate (if applicable)

Step 4- Seat Allotment - On the basis of the choices filled by the candidates, merit list, and availability of seats in institutes, authorities will allot seats to the eligible candidates. After seat allotment, candidates will have the option of freeze and float.

Step 5- Fee Payment - All the candidates who will be allotted a seat will be required to pay seat acceptance fee of Rs. 25000, for general and OBC candidates. In case, a candidate belongs to any other category then the seat acceptance fee will be Rs. 12,500.
