If the child has not appeared for JEE or MHT-CET , they can still apply for engineering admission through the following options: 1. Institute-Level Quota (Management Quota): Many private engineering colleges in Maharashtra reserve 20% seats for institute-level admission. These do not require JEE or MHT-CET scores. Admission is based on Class 12 (PCM) marks . You need to apply directly to the college through their official website or campus. 2. All India Seats (for CBSE/ICSE students): Some colleges accept Class 12 merit-based admissions under AI quota for unfilled seats. 3. Diploma to Degree (D2D) Route Later: If not eligible for direct admission, the student can pursue a Diploma in Engineering after 10th and take lateral entry (direct 2nd year) into degree engineering later. Government and government-aided colleges require CET or JEE scores. These alternative options are mostly available in private unaided colleges .
