JEE Main Application Form 2020- National Testing Agency has closed the JEE Main 2020 application form on March 12. The form was released on February 7 at jeemain.nta.nic.in and the steps to fill the form included registration, filling in requisite details, uploading photograph, signature and class 12 marksheet, payment of application fee and printing the confirmation page. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main January exam were not required to register again for the April session. They had to use their January JEE Main login details to fill the application form for April. JEE Main is held twice a year by National Testing Agency in January and April for admissions to the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the NITs, IIITs and GFTIS that participate in the process. NTA has concluded the photo correction facility of JEE Main 2020. JEE Main application form 2020 for January session was available from September 3 till October 10, 2019. According to NTA, there were 9,21,261 registrations for Paper 1 and 1,38,409 for Paper 2 (January session) which were held from January 6 to 9. There are a few documents and details which candidates were advised to keep ready before filling the JEE Main application form. This allowed the candidates to have a smooth JEE Main registration process with less chances of glitches and mistakes.
Valid Email ID and mobile number for JEE Main 2020 Registration
Details about identity proof such as passport/Aadhaar card/voter ID/ration card etc to register for JEE Main.
Scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature, admit card and class 12 marksheet/ admit card as per the specifications given below.

Candidates were able to access JEE Main application form 2020 till March 12 (5 pm). However, the last date for the payment of fee is March 12 (11.50 pm). The application form was available only in online mode. Candidates can check the five easy steps to fill the application form given below for reference.

Step 1 - JEE Main Registration: This is the first step in the JEE Main 2020 application process. The following details had to be entered to complete JEE Main registration process 2020 after reading all of the provided guidelines:
Choose Password - Candidates were asked to choose a strong password after filling the application form of JEE Main. The password should be more than 8 and less than 13 characters, have at least one upper alphabet, one lower alphabet and one numeric value and also must have one special character in the password like - !@#$%^&*_. A security question had to be selected and answered.Note: This password will be the one to be used for future logins so it has to be kept safe and chosen carefully.
Click on Submit. The details had to be reviewed and submitted. Before submission, the particulars should be checked and the declaration had to be signed. The JEE Main 2020 application number would be generated.
Note: For the April session, candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2020 January session were able to use the same credentials to fill the application form. Candidates who did not appear for the January exam had to register and fill the form as a fresh candidate.
Step 2 - Filling the JEE Main 2020 Application Form : After successful registration, candidates were moved to fill the JEE Main application form 2020. Candidates had to next click on "Complete Application Form". The previously submitted details were reflected in the application form. The following new details had to be submitted by candidates:

Click on Submit. The review page appeared and the candidates had to check the particulars and finally submit the application form.
Step 3 - Uploading of Photograph and Signature: After reviewing and submitting the application form, candidates had to upload the candidates’ photograph, signature and 12th admit card or marksheet scanned as per the mentioned specifications and saved. Candidates who has qualified 10+2th qualifying examination had to upload their marksheet while those who will be appearing for 10+2th qualifying examination in 2020 had to upload their admit card. To upload these documents, candidates had to click on “Upload Scanned Images” tab.
Step 4 - Payment of Application Fee - Next, the candidates had to pay the requisite JEE Main application fee according to their category. Payment could be done only in online mode.Online: Through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI/PayTM services

Step 5 - Print JEE Main Acknowledgement Page - Finally, the candidates must print out the acknowledgement page for future use. Candidates were advised to verify their registered mobile number and email address by entering the sent OTP to receive the admit card and other important information.

The steps for EWS category in the JEE Main 200 application form are specified by NTA as follows
Note: EWS certificate will be required during the JEE Advanced 2020 application process. The certificate for EWS category will also be required during admissions.
Candidates can check the status of their JEE Main application form 2020 by using the “Application Form Progress” tab which will be activated in the candidate login. Through this feature, the candidates will be able to check and view their application form, images and payment status.
A print out of the confirmation page can be taken only if the payment status reflects “OK”. However, if the payment status has not been confirmed, then the candidates will have to follow the given points:
The facility for JEE Main 2020 application form correction was made available to candidates from March 13 to 16. During the correction period of JEE Main application form 2020, candidates were able to correct or edit details such as paper, personal details, category, name, state of eligibility etc. Payment of additional fee also has to be done for correction in some fields.

Yes. NTA has increased the application fee of JEE Main 2020. The fee can be paid only in online mode i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI/PayTM. Increase in fee per paper for Genreal candidates is Rs 150 while for others its Rs 75.
Candidates who have filled the JEE Main application form (January) but have not appeared for the exam then will not be able to use their January credentials. They will have to register and fill the forms in April as a fresh candidate only.

In my personal opinion, I would suggest Informatics Practices (IP).
Please note that this is not same as Computer Science.
I would suggest IP because of the fact that, this in some way will help you in your higher education. Physical Education, as a subject, doesn't have much significance other than getting easy score in Boards without studying for the whole year. While IP would give you the opportunity to learn a professional course.
