IISER 2025 Application Dates

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, revised the IISER application form 2025 dates. Students willing to appear for the entrance exam must be aware of the IISER form filling date 2025 for all the channels so that they don’t miss any important deadlines. The following table can be referred to know about the IISER 2025 application form submission dates for all the channels.

Documents to keep ready while filling IISER Application Form 2025

Candidates should keep the following documents ready while filling out the IISER 2025 registration-

• Valid Email Id and mobile number

• Credit/Debit card or Internet banking details

• Scanned images of Photograph and Signature

• Scanned copy of Class 12th marksheet (If passed)

• Category Certificate (If applicable)

• Photo ID (not mandatory, will be needed later)

• Kashmiri Migrant certificate (If applicable)

• Medical certificate for PwD (If applicable)

• OCI/PIO certificate (If applicable)

How to fill IISER 2025 Application Form?

The authority has concluded the IISER 2025 registration on April 15, 2025. The IISER application form was released on March 10, 2025, on the official website. Candidates can refer to the step-by-step detailed procedure to fill out the IISER registration 2025 form here-

Step 1: IISER Registration- Candidates will have to first register by entering the given details-

• Name of Applicant

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• Mobile Number

• Confirm Mobile Number

• Email ID

• Re-enter Email Id

After entering IISER registration details, candidates had to click on the “Generate OTP” button. Once the candidates click on the button, a new window will appear where candidates will have to enter the Captcha Code. After submitting the captcha code, an OTP will be sent to the registered email and mobile number of the candidates. After receiving the OTP, candidates will have to enter the OTP in the space provided and click on “Validate OTP”. Once the OTP is verified, candidates will again have to enter a captcha code and click on the “Submit” button.

After successful registration, UserId/Username and password are sent to the registered mobile number and email.

Step 2: Login and Fill-in Personal details- Next, the candidates had to log in to the candidate portal using the received User Id and password. After login, candidates will have to click on the “Go to Personal Form Details” button and enter the following personal details-

• Father’s name

• Mother’s name

• Guardian’s name

• Category

• Select Applicant Photo Id from the list

• Photo Id number

• Type of Disability

• Kashmiri Migrant- Yes/No

• Citizenship

If the Permanent Address is the same as the Present Address then Click “Yes” else enter the permanent address.

After this, candidates had to click on the “Continue & Save” button.

Step 3: Enter Qualification details- Next, the candidates will have to fill in the given qualification details-

• Year of passing Class 10th

• Name of Board (Class 10th)

• Year of passing Class 12th

• Qualifying Exam- 12th/Others

• Board/Institution/University Name

• Name and address of School

• Whether Private/Government School

• Whether an institution is in a Rural/Urban area

• Result Declared- Yes/No

• Do you have Maths Subject in Class 12th- Yes/No

• Result of Maths Subject (If Yes)

After this, candidates had to click on the “Continue & Save” button.

Step 4: Uploading Documents- In this step, candidates had to upload the scanned images of their Photograph and signature as per specifications provided by the authorities. Candidates will also upload their Class 12th mark sheet if their results have been declared. After uploading documents, candidates had to enter the captcha code and check on the “I Agree” declaration. Candidates will have the option to preview their application and then submit it by clicking on the “Submit” button.

Step 5: KVPY, SCB and JEE Advanced Channel Application (Whichever applicable)- After this, candidates get an option to fill out the KVPY and SCB channel application form. Candidates must note that they could apply for KVPY and JEE (Advanced) using the same application number and user id. Also, if candidates are applying through multiple channels, they will have to pay the application fee for each channel.

• KVPY Stream

• KVPY Qualifying Rank

• KVPY Seat Number

• KVPY Application Number

• Preference of IISER (9 preferences to be entered)

After this candidates will have to check the declaration box click on the “Submit” button and proceed to payment.

SCB Application Form- Following details are to entered-

• IAT 2025 Exam City Preferences (5 Preferences).

• Preference of IISER (9 preferences to be entered).

After this candidates will have to check the declaration box click on the “Submit” button and proceed to payment.

It should be noted that the tabs for each channel will be available as and when the application form for the channel is released. Usually, SCB Channel applications are started first.

JEE Advanced Channel- Following details are to entered-

• JEE Advanced 2025 roll number.

• Centre for IISER 2025 counselling.

• Preference of IISER (9 preferences to be entered).

After this candidates will have to check the declaration box click on the “Submit” button and proceed to payment.

Step 5: Payment of Fee- After filling in all the details in the IAT application form 2025, candidates will be redirected to the ICICI Bank payment gateway where they have to pay the IISER registration fee through UPI, debit cards/credit cards or net banking. Candidates are advised to note the transaction details for future reference.

Step 6: Submission of Application Form- In the last step, candidates will have to finally submit their application form and download it for future reference.

IISER 2025 Aptitude Test

Candidates applying through the SCB Channel have to appear for the IISER 2025 aptitude test. Candidates must know the IISER syllabus & paper pattern 2025 of the test beforehand. IISER Aptitude Test 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025 as a computer-based test of 3 hours with 60 multiple-choice questions spread over the 4 sections of the test- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Each section had 15 questions. Candidates will be awarded 3 marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark on each incorrect answer.
