When preparing for the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering (AEEE), an "eBook refers to digital study material designed to aid in exam preparation. This can include:

  • Digital versions of textbooks:
    • These provide the same content as physical books but in a digital format, accessible on devices like tablets, laptops, or smartphones.
  • Study guides:
    • These eBooks often condense essential concepts, provide summaries, and offer practice questions specifically tailored to the AEEE syllabus.
  • Sample papers and previous years' question papers:
    • These are crucial for practice and understanding the exam pattern. Many platforms offer these in eBook or downloadable PDF formats.
  • Subject-specific eBooks:
    • These may focus on particular areas within Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or English, offering in-depth explanations and targeted practice.

Here's a breakdown of how eBooks are helpful for AEEE preparation:

  • Accessibility:
    • eBooks can be accessed anytime, anywhere, making studying more flexible.
  • Portability:
    • Carrying digital study material is much easier than carrying multiple heavy textbooks.
  • Interactive learning:
    • Some eBooks may include interactive elements like quizzes, videos, and simulations.
  • Cost-effectiveness:
    • In some cases, eBooks can be more affordable than physical books.

To find relevant eBooks, you can explore:

  • Educational websites and platforms.
  • Online bookstores.
  • The official Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham website.

Remember to align with the current year of ebook.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

Absolutely, I’d be glad to help! Since you're a first-year diploma student and your goal is to join an IIT through JEE , it's important to understand the path clearly.

Here's the reality:

1. IITs & JEE Eligibility for Diploma Holders

Unfortunately, diploma holders are not eligible for admission into IITs via JEE Advanced directly.

  • IITs only allow students who have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics .

  • A diploma is not considered equivalent to 12th for JEE Advanced eligibility.

So, you cannot join IIT through the diploma-to-IIT direct route .

But here's what you can do instead :

Option 1: Appear for Class 12 (as a private candidate)

  • You can register for Class 12 from a recognized board (like NIOS or state board) with PCM subjects .

  • Once you pass 12th with PCM, you become eligible to:

    1. Appear for JEE Main and then JEE Advanced .

    2. Apply for IITs like any other 12th student.

This is the most reliable route for a diploma student aiming for IIT.

Option 2: Lateral Entry into Other Top Colleges (Non-IIT)

If you want to continue with your diploma:

  • You can go for LEET exams (Lateral Entry Entrance Tests).

  • Through this, you can directly join 2nd year B.Tech in many state universities or NITs , but not in IITs .

Some colleges even have good placements and academics similar to IITs.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing that—it's totally okay to take a step back and plan for a stronger comeback!

Now, regarding BITSAT eligibility and whether you'd be considered a dropper:

BITSAT Eligibility Rules:

As per the latest BITSAT norms (usually consistent year to year):

  1. You are eligible for BITSAT only in the year you passed 12th and the following year.

    So if you:

    1. Pass class 12th in 2025 (as a private candidate) → You can appear for BITSAT in 2025 and 2026 only .

    2. You cannot appear for BITSAT in 2027 , as that would be the second year after your 12th .

What counts as “year of passing”?

It’s the year printed on your final Class 12 marksheet , not your original attempt.

So since you plan to repeat and officially pass in 2025 , your valid BITSAT attempts will be:

  • BITSAT 2025

  • BITSAT 2026

Dropper status?

  • BITS doesn't officially use the term "dropper" in eligibility.

  • You’ll be treated as a fresh candidate in 2025 , since your Class 12 pass year will be 2025.

Summary:

  • Yes , you can appear for BITSAT in 2025 and 2026.

  • No , you won’t be eligible for BITSAT 2027.

  • Repeating Class 12 as a private candidate is completely valid for both JEE and BITSAT , as long as you meet age and attempt criteria.

Hiii,

So you want to take admission in the BAMS course (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) but your NEET preparation didn’t go well due to some personal reasons. That’s completely okay—don’t lose hope. There are still chances to get into a good private Ayurvedic college with low fees.

First of all, even for private colleges, you’ll need to qualify NEET. The score doesn’t have to be very high if you’re looking for colleges with low cut-offs, especially in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

Now coming to the colleges – there are some private Ayurvedic colleges where the fees are not too high, and they also accept students with lower NEET scores, especially in the last or mop-up rounds of counselling. Some of these colleges charge around 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs per year, which is quite affordable compared to other private colleges that charge 4–5 lakhs per year.

Here are some examples of such colleges:

  • In Uttar Pradesh, you can check out Dayanand Ayurvedic Medical College in Siwan or Lal Bahadur Shastri Ayurvedic College in Prayagraj. These colleges usually have a low fee structure and give admission through UP state counselling or directly if seats remain.

  • In Madhya Pradesh, there’s Maharishi Ayurveda College in Ujjain, which is quite affordable and takes students with average NEET scores.

  • In Karnataka, Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda in Manipal is known for good quality education and reasonable fees.

  • And in Maharashtra, Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Nagpur is one option you can consider.

With an 88 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 as an OBC female candidate, you have a fair chance of getting into Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT), but it will depend on the branch you choose.

Expected Possibilities Based on Previous Trends:

Difficult : IT, ECE, and Electrical Engineering (as they have higher closing ranks).

Moderate Chance : Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

Higher Chance : Chemical Technology (Leather Technology), as its closing ranks are generally higher.

Since cutoffs change every year, you should apply through Bihar UGEAC counseling and list multiple branches to maximize your chances

u r eligible to appear for jee advanced 2025.

last yr cutoffs:

.2024= 79.67

.2023= 73.61

.2022= 67.00

ur percentile  of 88  exceeds these past cutoffs , indicating a strong liklihood of qualifying for jee advanced.
