JEE Advanced Application Form 2019 - IIT Roorkee has closed the JEE Advanced 2019 application process on May 9. However, Candidates from Odisha could apply till May 14. The JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates were eligible to fill the JEE Advanced 2019 application form in online mode. All aspiring candidates were advised to check the complete eligibility criteria of the entrance exam before they proceeded to fill the application form of JEE Advanced 2019. While filling JEE Advanced application form 2019, candidates had to provide their valid personal, academic and communication details. Candidates also had to pay the requisite JEE Advanced fees along with application form submission, otherwise, it was not considered.

IIT Roorkee has also announced minimum percentage of marks prescribed for inclusion in the rank list for each category. How to fill JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form?

Candidates could follow the steps given below to fill the application form of JEE Advanced 2019.

Step 1 – Registration

Step 2 – Uploading of Documents

These steps could be checked by candidates in detail below.

Step 1 – Registration for JEE Advanced 2019

  • Click on the registration link at jeeadv.nic.in/

  • Read all the instructions as visible on the screen carefully

  • Now, login to the registration portal using

  • JEE Main 2019 Roll Number and password

  • Enter the security pin

  • After successfully logging in, academic, personal and communication details as entered by the candidate at the time of JEE Main 2019 registration was visible on the screen in read-only mode.

  • However, the registration form of JEE Advanced 2019 had some additional fields that the candidate were required to fill:

  • Candidate had to choose the language in which they wanted to attempt the question paper (English or Hindi)

  • Candidate had to choose maximum of five centres according to their convenience

  • Total Number of attempts etc.

  • Candidate could also fill two additional phone numbers apart from the one entered during the registration.

Note: Candidates had to keep in mind that their registration could have been cancelled, if they did not fulfil the complete prescribed eligibility criteria.

Instructions related to JEE Advanced 2019 password

Candidates had to follow the instructions given below while creating the password.

  • It should have been between 8 to 13 characters with a combination of one Uppercase alphabet, one Lowercase alphabet, one numeric value and one special character [email protected]#$%^&*

  • Candidates should not share the password with any other person.

  • Candidates could reset their password if they want to.

How to reset JEE Advanced 2019 password?

To reset a password, the following steps had to be followed:

  • Candidates could answer the security question chosen during registration.

  • Candidates could enter the verification code sent to their registered mobile number.

  • Candidates could use the reset link sent to their registered email address.

Step 2 – Uploading of Documents

After entering all the details, candidate had to upload the scanned images of the following documents:

  • Class X certificate as proof of birth or Birth Certificate

  • Class XII (or equivalent) examination certificate

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

  • Scribe Request Letter certificate (if required)

  • PIO Card / OCI Certificate

  • DS certificate

  • Gazette notification showing name change (only for candidates whose name is not same as in Class X certificate)

Step 3 – Registration Fee Payment

Before proceeding in this step, candidates had to check the category they belonged to as registration fee of JEE Advanced 2019 is different for different categories.

Mode of Payment: Candidates could choose to make payment according to their convenience using any of the two modes – Online or Offline

Through Online Mode:

Payment by Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking: By clicking on “Pay Registration Fee” option, candidates were redirected to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. Here, they could choose from any of the available options - Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking to make the payment. After successful payment, a unique registration number was generated. Candidates had to take a printout of this unique number along with the “Registration Details”.

Through Offline Mode:

  • Payment by CASH using SBI Branch Option: To make payment through cash, candidates had to select “SBI Branch” to generate the challan. Candidate could make the payment by using a printout of the challan at any SBI branch by making the cash payment. After payment, candidate was required to enter payment details to generate unique registration number. Following it, they had to take a printout of the “Registration Details” along with unique number.

Payment by SAARC and Non-Saarc Exam Centre Candidates

Such candidates could make the payment on the MOPS page by using International Debit/ Credit Card as issued by Foreign Banks outside India. Candidates who used cards issued in India were not able to make the payment in US$. Upon payment, candidate was required to print the “Registration Details” with UNIQUE Registration Number.

Step 4 – Printing of Confirmation Page

After payment w madase, candidates had to submit the JEE Advanced 2019 application form and take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future use.

Q- Should I wait till the last date to fill and submit JEE Advanced 2019 application form?

A- It is not advisable to wait till the last day, as this increases the possibilities of missing the deadline due to technical issues. Also, the chances to make mistakes while filling the form also doubles at this point and time.

Q - I have entered category wrongly during JEE Advanced registration. Can I rectify it during JEE Advanced registration 2019?

A- No, you can not change your category.

Q - Do I need to enter my mobile number in the JEE Advanced application form 2019?

A- Yes, you will have to enter one valid mobile number in JEE Advanced 2019 application form. You can also enter the maximum of two mobile numbers only.

Q - I have accepted a seat during JoSAA 2019. Will I be still considered eligible for JEE Advanced 2019?

A- You can no longer apply for JEE Advanced 2019, if you have been offered a seat at any of the IITs,

Q - I took admission in an NIT in 2018. Am I eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2019?

A- Yes, you are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2019, provided you meet all the other eligibility criterias as prescribed.
