JEE Advanced Registration 2026 - IIT Roorkee will announce the JEE Advanced 2026 registration date on the official website. As per the previous year dates, the JEE Advanced application link will be available in April 2026. The mode of applying for the JEE Advanced 2026 is online only. Those who obtain more than 2,50,000 rank in the JEE Main exam will be able to apply for the test. The application of JEE Advanced 2026 will include registration, form filling, uploading of documents and payment of fees. The JEE Advanced exam will be held in the month of May.

IIT Roorkee will announce the JEE Advanced registration date 2026 on its official website. Aspirants had to submit the application form before the JEE Advanced 2026 registration deadline. Below are the dates of the JEE Adv registration 2026.

IIT Roorkee will upload the JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates must have passed class 12 in 2024, 2025 or 2026. Moreover, they need to qualify the JEE Main 2026 exam and be among the top 2,50,000 candidates. Students must fulfil each JEE Advanced eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2026.

The foreign candidates and OCI.PIO candidates will need to complete their education equivalent to 10+2 and need not write the JEE Main exam. Such candidates can apply for JEE Advanced directly. Moreover, foreign / OCI /PIO candidates need to complete other requirements too.
Candidates will be able to access the JEE Advanced 2026 application login window from the official website. By using the JEE Main application number and password, aspirants will be able to login and fill the JEE Adv application form 2026. Further details about the JEE Adv registration login window will be provided here as soon as it is activated.
The registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will be held in April. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to apply online. To access the JEE Advanced 2026 registration portal, candidates will have to provide the JEE Main login credentials. Moreover, the JEE Advanced registration fee is accepted in online mode. Candidates have to select their preferred choice of JEE Advanced exam centres while filling out the forms. The steps involved in JEE Advanced registration are as follows.
Step 1- Fill JEE Advanced Registration Form
Firstly, candidates have to log into the JEE Advanced registration portal using the JEE Main 2026 login id and password. Upon successful login, all personal, academic, and contact details as furnished in the JEE Main 2026 application form displayed on the screen.
Candidates will have the option to provide an additional phone number and email id. Students had to enter some other details for the JEE Advanced exam such as choice of examination cities (08 choices), class XII (or equivalent) exam Roll no. and much more.
Step 2- Uploading of documents
Applicants will be required to upload the documents specified by the concerned authorities.

Step 3- Payment of JEE Advanced 2026 application fee: Finally, to submit the JEE Advanced application form 2026, candidates have to make the payment of the application fee in online or offline mode.
In addition, the category certificates to be uploaded by candidates with the JEE Advanced application form are listed as follows.

Candidates unable to get the certificate accordingly may upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of GEN-EWS Certificate) to that effect. |
OBC-NCL candidates | The certificate should have been issued on or after April 01, 2026, in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If any OBC-NCL candidate fails to collect the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2026) before online JEE Advance registration, he/she may upload a declaration (Declaration in Lieu of OBC-NCL Certificate) to that effect. Candidates may visit ncbc.nic.in for the latest guidelines and updates on the Central List of State-wise OBCs. |
SC or ST candidates | Students must upload the caste certificate (for SC) or tribe certificate(for ST) as per the latest guidelines of the Government of India. |
PwD candidates | Candidates under this category must upload the Physical Disability certificate (FORM-PwD II/III/IV whichever is applicable]) issued by the notified medical authority. |
Dyslexic candidates | They need to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of FORM-PwD. The certificate must mention ‘SEVERE’ under the Dyslexia category to enable the candidate to get the benefit of PwD category |
For Scribe Services | Candidates needing the services of a scribe must send a request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal coordinating IIT (FORM-SCRIBE). |
DS category candidates | They must upload the certificate (FORM-DS) issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. |
Foreign candidates | They should check the direct link at jeeadv.ac.in/foreign.php to know the documents they have to upload. |
Candidates whose Class XII examination Board is outside India or is not listed in the examinations considered equivalent to class 12 | Must submit a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination qualified by the candidates is equivalent to the class 12 exam. |
Documents required while filling JEE Advanced application form
How to Pay JEE Advanced Registration Fee 2026 in Online Mode?
To make payment via Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking, candidates have to click “Pay Registration Fee” after which the system will automatically redirect to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. As per the candidates' convenience, they may select any of the available options like Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/E-challan.
After successful payment, candidates have to print the “Registration Details” with a unique JEE Advanced registration number.
Candidates have to make the payment on the MOPS page. Students must use International debit/credit cards issued by Foreign banks outside for the payment. After the payment, the JEE Advanced registration details along with the unique number are to be printed out.

If the candidate forgets their JEE Advanced login ID and password then they can reset the same by following the below-given steps:
Click on the forgot password option.
Choose one of the options given, that is, through verification code sent to JEE Main registered mobile or reset link sent to JEE Main registered
Fill the details asked as per the option chosen
The password will be sent to the candidate.
The authority will not open the JEE Advanced correction window. There is no provision to correct any mistakes made in the application form of JEE Advanced. Once the candidates have submitted the JEE Advanced registration form, they cannot change the entered details. Therefore, students are advised to check all the details entered in the JEE Advanced application form 2026 carefully before submitting the form.

2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
4. One language (which is English)
5. One other subject of your choice
