The cutoff percentile changes every year for taking admission in Nirma University through JEE Main. It depends upon the fact how many applicants have been considered and how challenging the exam was along with whether one belongs to which category, that is, General, OBC, SC, ST.

In order to understand this better, it is advised to check the official website of Nirma University or seek help from admissions office regarding the most authentic and recent information about the cutoff percentile for the current year.

Although traditionally a fairly good percentile in JEE Main, more particularly for the General category, is required to get into Nirma University.

Do not forget to prepare well for JEE Main and ensure a really high percentile by which you get into Nirma University.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued guidelines to rectify Name Mismatch arising between Class X marksheets and Aadhar cards at the time of JEE Main 2025 registration. Just follow the below instructions.

You encounter an error message "Name Mismatch" while authenticating the Aadhar:

Don't worry. It is a frequent error and NTA has solved this issue.

Close from the pop-up window. Do not click on "ok" or submit the form with the error.

A new window should pop up. This window you can enter your name exactly as is on your Aadhar card.

Enter the name in Aadhar and submit. This would capture both your class 10 marksheet name and the name in Aadhar while making the application.

Some more important things to note:

Double check your Aadhar card: Make sure that you put your name on the form exactly as it appears on the Aadhar card, including any middle names or initials etc.

You won't need to upload any documents: Assuming the names are close enough but different, you don't strictly need to update your class 10 mark sheet or even your Aadhar card either. You can simply fill in both names exactly as they are in the original documents.

Contact NTA: If the above solutions do not help resolve the problem, you will have to contact the NTA Helpdesk. All the contact details are found on the official website of JEE Main.

By following these steps you should be able to clear the name mismatch error and succeed in the online registration for JEE Main 2025.

Yes, you can definitely get admission to an NIT or IIIT under the SC category if you have a valid caste certificate and domicile certificate from Karnataka. Here is what you need to know. Caste Certificate: A caste certificate issued by any competent authority in Karnataka will suffice. You do not need a caste validity certificate separately for caste. Domicile Certificate: This is necessary for domicile from Karnataka to obtain its benefits of quota benefits as Karnataka domicile.

JEE Main Score- For admission in NITs, IIITs and that score in JEE Main will be deciding factor. In the counselling process, you should ensure securing good marks especially to get top institute.

Counseling Process: During counseling process, you are required to provide your caste and domicile certificates for verification.

Important

Please ensure getting all your documents ready for verification at the counseling process.

Be Informed: Be aware of the changing information and policies about admission.

Get Counselling: If you have questions or doubts, meet an academic counselor or the admission authorities of the colleges that you wish to study in .

By following this and a good score in JEE Main, you can have a better chance of getting into any of the NIT/IIIT/colleges which highly ranked under SC category.

You can't apply for JEE Main twice in the same session 1.

Once submitted for any session, you cannot alter or withdraw the application form. In such cases, you will have to wait for the next session to reapply.

Thus, before submitting the application form, ensure that all information filled in is correct and complete.

Yes, you can download your JEE Main admit card even in minor discrepancies in your name on the Aadhaar card and your 10th mark sheet.

The NTA basically relies on the particulars filled in the online application for JEE Main. If there is no mismatch between the name filled in your application form and that in your Aadhaar card, then you must be allowed to sit for the examination.

However, it is always advisable to cross-check all the details once you obtain your admit card. In case of any discrepancies found, you can call the NTA helpline immediately and solve the issue at that moment.

Some Precautionary Measures for a Hassle-free Process

Call NTA Helpline: You should call the NTA helpline to know the exact requirements for the same and the documents to provide to settle the discrepancy.

Keep all your documents ready such as Aadhaar card, 10th mark sheet, and other ID proof.

Do not Panic: Try not to panic and remain calm.

Follow the Instructivos of NTA: If there are any specific instructions or guidelines given by the NTA, implement them accordingly.

By doing so and by taking proactive steps, the crisis will be rectified, and you'll have a hassle-free time during the exam.
