• Applicants must have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December 2025. There is no upper age limit.

• For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg) courses, candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December 2025 and the upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as of December 31, 2025.

Academic Qualifications-

To be eligible for Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharm.D, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] courses, candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern).

• The Intermediate Examination is conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.

• The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, must have conducted a bridge course or courses for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards.

• Alternatively, any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana may also be considered.

• Candidates must have chosen Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.

• Candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) and are awaiting their results may also apply for APEAMCET 2025. However, their ranks obtained in APEAMCET 2025 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.

Nationality-

• Only Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders are eligible.

• PIO/OCI candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.

• Foreign nationals desirous of getting admission to any course shall be required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

State Domicile-

• Candidates should be residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana state.

• The candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974, and its subsequent amendments.

• The local/non-local status of the candidate will be determined as per the guidelines issued by the respective state governments.

Marks Required-

• The minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination for most courses offered through APEAMCET 2025 is 45% (40% for reserved categories).
