Conditions of Citizenship
Candidate must be an Indian national or person of Indian origin or overseas citizen of India cardholder
Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
Candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
Conditions of Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of class 12 or its equivalent examination from Board of Intermediate Education Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh
Candidates should have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry along with other technical vocational courses in class 12 examination
Candidates passed or appeared in diploma in engineering are also eligible for appearing in TS EAMCET 2020
Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks in class 12 or its equivalent examination (40% for candidates of reserved category)
Conditions of Age
Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech in all branches except B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology must be 16 years of age on the date of commencement of classes and there is no upper age limit.
Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology must be 17 years of age on December 31 in the year of admission in course and should not be more than 22 years of age
Maximum Permissible age for B.Tech Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology for reserved category candidate is 25 years
Candidate must secure at least 25% marks in TS EAMCET 2020 in order to be considered for inclusion in rank list
Only candidates who are included in rank list will be considered for admission
There is no minimum marks required for candidates of reserved category for inclusion in rank list
Candidates who have resided or studied in an educational institute of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh for a period of at least four consecutive years up to their qualifying exam are considered as local candidate.
Candidates who do not satisfy the above criteria will be considered as non-local candidates
Candidates belonging to OCI/ PIO category will be treated as non-local candidates
The application form of TS EAMCET 2020 will be released in March in online mode. The application form will be available in the official website of TS EAMCET 2020. Students who will be filling out the application form must check their eligibility of before filling the form. The entrance exam for TS EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Hyderabad. Entrance exam will be conducted in May in online mode and the result will be announced in June.
