Hello Saniya,
As an SC female candidate from Haryana aiming for admission to NIT Kurukshetra, your JEE Main rank is crucial. Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for SC female candidates in various branches were approximately:
These ranks can fluctuate annually due to factors like exam difficulty and applicant numbers. To estimate the required marks, consider that a JEE Main score of about 150-180 often corresponds to a rank within 10,000-20,000. However, this is a general estimate, and actual requirements may vary.
For the most accurate and current information, refer to the official JoSAA counseling data and NIT Kurukshetra's admission updates.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out with this detailed question about your JEE Advanced and JOSAA counselling situation. I can understand your concern about document validation for the upcoming year.
Here's what you need to know:
For JEE 2025, since you'll be using the same OBC-NCL certificate, there are a few important points to consider:
1. Certificate Validity:
- OBC-NCL certificates typically have a one-year validity period
- The certificate must be issued after April 1, 2024, for JEE 2025
- Even if your previous certificate was accepted, you'll need a new one that meets the current year's requirements
2. Document Requirements:
- JOSAA follows strict guidelines about certificate dates
- The fact that your documents weren't queried last year doesn't guarantee the same for 2025
- Each year's verification process is independent of previous years
3. Important Steps:
- Get a new OBC-NCL certificate issued within the specified timeframe
- Don't rely on last year's documentation
- Keep checking the official JEE/JOSAA websites for updated certificate requirements for 2025
To avoid any last-minute issues, I strongly recommend:
- Obtaining a fresh OBC-NCL certificate
- Ensuring it meets all the latest format requirements
- Keeping both digital and physical copies ready well before counselling begins
Would you like to know more about the specific document requirements or counselling process for 2025? Feel free to check our website for detailed information about JEE counselling processes and documentation guidelines.
Hello there,
If your name appears differently on your Aadhar card and 10th marksheet , it’s important to follow these steps to avoid issues during JEE exam and counseling :
For JEE Application and Exam : As the JEE helpline suggested, you should use the name exactly as it appears on your 10th marksheet . This is crucial because the 10th marksheet is used for verification of educational qualifications.
During Examination Verification : There is usually no issue during verification if your name format varies slightly, but to avoid confusion, carry both your Aadhar card and 10th marksheet to the exam as identification proof. If the exam authorities ask about the difference, explain that it’s just a variation in name format (initials).
For JEE Counseling : During counseling, always use the name as it appears on your 10th marksheet , since that is your official educational document and will be consistent with your JEE application.
If you're still concerned, you may also update your Aadhar card to match the name on your 10th marksheet to ensure uniformity across documents for future processes.
Hello Lucky,
For MHT-CET as a Kashmir migrant , you typically need the following documents in addition to the domicile certificate :
Score Card Submission : In the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) for MHT-CET, you generally have to submit your MHT-CET score . If you're also appearing for JEE Main , you can submit that score as well, but you need to check specific instructions from the Maharashtra CET cell regarding which score will be considered for admission.
Single or Multiple Score Cards : You can use either your MHT-CET score or your JEE Main score for admissions, depending on the course and college preferences. Some colleges may accept both scores, but you need to confirm that from the official guidelines.
Merit List : Based on your submitted scores, a merit list will be prepared for admissions.
Choice Filling : After the merit list is announced, you can fill in your choices for colleges and courses based on your score.
Seat Allotment : You’ll be allotted a seat based on your merit rank and the preferences you filled in.
Reporting to College : After allotment, you'll need to report to the college for document verification and payment of fees.
Make sure to check the official MHT-CET website or the Maharashtra CET cell for the most accurate and updated information regarding documentation and the counseling process.
All government engg colleges except ISER's and IIT's
Hello from Careers360! Thank you for reaching out with your question about counseling options.
Regarding your situation, it's absolutely fine to participate in the CAP counseling based on your MHT-CET score if you feel that's your stronger result. There's no requirement to use your JEE score if you don't want to. Many students choose to go with their best performance when multiple exam options are available.
The most important thing is to use the score that gives you the best chance at the colleges and programs you're interested in. If your MHT-CET score puts you in a better position, then that's a smart choice.
Just be sure to carefully follow all the procedures and deadlines for the CAP counselling process based on MHT-CET. If you need any specific information about that process, please don't hesitate to ask.
Is there anything else you'd like to know about the counselling or admissions process?

No.Only 12th exam appearing student and 1st dropper are allowed to get admission in IISc Banglore but you can write JEE exam 6 times in 3 consecutive years and
You can only write IISER Aptitude twice in the lifetime that too only consecutively
This year eligibility criteria of IISc says that candidate who passed 12th in 2023 and who are giving 12th exam in 2024 are eligible to apply for admission in IISc.
But you can apply for NISER &UM CEBS through NEST.
Hope it helps!
It is quite impossible to get top branches like CSE, IT, AIML in any colleges of IPU because your rank is not upto mark but in affiliated colleges for the candidates, you can get admission for branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical in less popular colleges such as GTBIT, DTC for sure and there is a very less chance to get seat in mid-tier colleges like BPIT, Akhilesh das if you go with low branches if try till the spot round, so i would suggest you to fill your choices accordingly and try to prefer a college which is near your home.
