GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level exam. Candidates who wish to get admission to the M.Tech courses offered by the institutes in India can appear for GATE. Seven IITs namely Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, and Kanpur, and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore conduct the GATE. To appear for KCET exam candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria and submit the exam form. KCE is conducted in offline mode at state level. The duration of the test is 1 hour and 12 minutes. The question paper are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There shall be 180 questions. No negative marking will be done.
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). GUJCET is conducted at state level for admission to the B.Tech courses offered by the institutes participating. GUJCET is held once a year. Candidates can take the test in any one of the following languages - Gujarati, Hindi, and English. The duration of the test is three hours. GUJCET question paper consists of 120 questions and there shall be no negative marking. The qualifying candidates have to participate in the counselling process.
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly known as TS EAMCET is conducted by JNTUH every year. Candidates who wish to get admission into the undergraduate courses offered by the participating state institutes for Engineering and Agriculture can appear for TS EAMCET. The test is conducted in online mode for three hours. The medium of test is English, Telugu, and Urdu. For engineering, the question will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
