I got 85.79 percentile in jee mains Jan 2020..I am a girl and obc candidate from maharashtra...Will I get any nit??

Sarthak Dhiman 4th Apr, 2020

Hello Aspirant.

As you've mentioned that you've scored 85.79 percentile in JEE main examination and considering both your factors of OBC category quota and girl candidate, it's still really hard for you to get admission into any nit even for the lower ones.

If you would be having a state quota for lower NITs such as NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim then there would have been a chance for you to get a NIT.

But at current situation, it's extremely difficult for you to get admission in any NIT.

I get 69.97% in Jeemains with general category .so, I can qualifying in jeeadvaced examination

Anantika Kushwaha 4th Apr, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

Since you belong to General category, a percentile score of 69.97 is not enough for a candidate to get qualified in JEE Mains.

For general category a candidate needs to have a percentile of 84 in JEE Mains to be eligible to write JEE Advanced.

I got 83.7percentile in Jan jee which college can i get into???

Sarthak Dhiman 4th Apr, 2020

Hello Aspirant.

As you've mentioned that you've scored 83.7 percentile in JEE main examination and assuming that you're a general candidate then according to the formula

Rank=(100-percentile)*8690.10

Your rank is around 1,42,515-1,42,550. At this rank you won't be getting any government institutions yet you can get direct admission based on this percentile in colleges like LPU, but you'll only need to go for private colleges for that rank.
