MHT CET Application Form 2021 - The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is expected to release the application form of MHT CET 2021 in the month of March. How to fill MHT CET Application Form 2021?
Candidates will have to follow the series of steps in order to fill MHT CET 2021 application form as provided below:
Step 1 - MHT CET Registration
Visit the official website at mahacet.org and open the MHT CET 2021 portal
Now click on the link to ‘New Registration’
Candidates will be required to enter certain personal information like first name, last name, name of the parents, contact details, etc.
They will also be required to create a username (4 to 15 characters) and password (8 to 20 characters)
Step 2 - Application Form
Registered candidates will have to visit the MHT CET home page and required to login using their username and password
After logging in, candidates may click on ‘My application’ to continue with filling the further details
Some of the personal details filled during registration will be automatically filled in MHT CET application form
Next step will be entering the contact details with permanent and correspondence address
Other details like nationality, category of reservation, religion, etc.
This shall be followed by filling the qualifying examination details
At last, candidates will be required to enter their preferences in the MHT CET application form 2021 for exam day like language of exam, exam centres, etc.
Step 3 - Uploading Documents
After uploading all the requisite details in MHT CET 2021 application form, candidates will be required to upload the scanned images of their colored photograph, signature. The images should be uploaded strictly in the prescribed format or the same will not be accepted by the officials.

Step 4 - Payment of Application Fees
Candidates will have to pay the application fee of the amount prescribed in the table below for confirming their MHT CET application form 2021. The application fee can be made in online mode only and the amount shall be non-refundable and non- transferable as well.

Step 5 - Print Application Form
After successful completion of MHT CET application form and payment of suitable application fee, a confirmation shall be conveyed to the candidates. They are advised to download and take a print out of the same for future reference.
MHT CET Exam Centres 2021
While filling the MHT CET application form, candidates will be required to select the cities of their choice in the order of preference. Candidates will be allotted the MHT CET 2021 exam centres based on the choices entered by them in the application form. The MHT CET exam shall be conducted at approximately 166 exam centres spread at over 35 districts in Maharashtra. Candidates will have to choose 4 out of the list of districts for appearing in the exam with the most preferred on the top followed by the least preferred ones depending upon their own convenience of commutation.
Correction in MHT CET 2021 Application Form
The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra does not allow candidates to make any changes or corrections in the already submitted MHT CET application form. Thus, those who enter the incorrect information and wish to make changes in the same, they will have to first cancel their previously submitted application form of MHT CET 2021 and then fill a fresh one. It may be noted that those who cancel their applications will not get any refund for such cancellation.
How to cancel MHT CET Application Form 2021?
Candidates may note the steps provided below for cancelling the submitted application form of MHT CET 2021:
Visit the official website at mahacet.org
Enter the MHT CET 2021 portal and then login using application number and password
Click on the link to ‘Cancel Application’
A pop up will appear on the screen requiring candidates to enter their registered mobile number.
After entering, candidates will receive a one time password (OTP) on their registered mobile number
Candidates will have to enter this OTP to affirm their request for cancellation of MHT CET application form 2021.
This will be followed by entering the cancellation remark and then they will have to click on ‘Proceed’.
After cancellation, candidates can proceed with filing a fresh MHT CET 2021 application form.. This time, such candidates should make sure to fill all the details with utmost care so that no incorrect information is entered.

MHT CET (or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a common state level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra every year for admission into undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses. My son will appear 10th CBSE from Kuwaitin 2021, I am planning for him to do his 11th & 12th from Maharashtra, will he be able to get admission through MHCET,is it is enough to have 11th and 12th from Maharashtra state to be eligible for MHCET.Appreciate your response. _
Candidates should have passed SSC and also Diploma in Engineering or HSC or Bachelor of Science Exam from a recognised institution in the state ofMaharashtra. Candidate should either be aDomicileofMaharashtraand/or should be born inMaharashtra to avail the reservation for the Maharashtra state students. Others state candidate (Reserve Category ) shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech in Maharashtra through MHT CET

Yes,candidates who do not belong to Maharastra state can also appear for the MHT CET. You can get admission into the engineering colleges in Maharashtra even if you are non-resident of Maharashtra. However, non-residents can just go for the private colleges under AIQ 15% quota. They cannot appear for the government and government aided colleges for the admission process through MHT CET.
My son is OCI holder and is currently studying in 8th standard (CBSE). He shifted to Thane,Maharshtra in class 3. Can he be eligible for MH CET in near future taking in to the current rules?
