I got 75 percentile in jee mains 2020..what could be my rank in ST category???plzz tell me..

Saisrinandan Ch 22nd Feb, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Final ranks are declared only after the April session is concluded.

It would be more helpful if you have given some decimal values of your percentile.

For 75 percentile, your estimated rank would be less than 2 lakhs 20 thousand considering only the January case.

Note: This is general rank. It is difficult to predict category wise rank as sufficient information about number of students from different categories is not available.

ST candidate would qualify for JEE Advanced with 75 percentile.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

sir plz advice me how to score 150+ in jee main

Saisrinandan Ch 22nd Feb, 2020

Hello,

Since the change in declaring results in the form of Percentile, the raw score obtained by the student has become the second priority.

In my opinion, you should now rather concentrate on getting better percentile.

This can be achieved by:

1. Solving Maths questions over others because it is comparatively easy and gives you upper hand in case of a tie.

2. Practice NCERT textual exercises. Mere good grip in subjects by attending regular classes will give you 70+ percentile.

3. Prepare according to weightage of chapters.

4. Since there is less time available to you and you also have your board exams, I suggest, in this last moment to try to solve previous year papers as they can give you idea of questions.

5. Watch online tutorials to learn concepts.

6. Keep your accuracy high and attempt all Numerical Questions as there is no Negative marking.

These are some simple tactics to better your score.

how many mark needed in st category for rank 400 in jee advanced

Vikas gehlot 21st Feb, 2020

Maximum marks for JEE advanced is not fixed and it keeps on changing every year sometimes it is more than 500 and sometime it is close to 350. Therefore don't go for marks because it even happens that sometimes the question paper comes very difficult and with less marks also you will get very good rank therefore it is totally unpredictable also the pattern of JEE advanced is completely anonymous and will be known only after prepare for JEE advanced.
