The detailed eligibility criteria of AP EAMCET 2020 is given below:
Candidates must be Indian citizens to apply for AP EAMCET 2020.
Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders can also apply for the entrance exam.
Candidates hailing from Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will have to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age as on December 31, 2020.
There is no upper age limit for applying for AP EAMCET 2020.
Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech Food Science & Technology, candidates must be minimum 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020. Upper age limit in this case will be 22 years for general category candidates whereas for SC/ST category candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years.
Candidates must have passed their class 12 from Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, candidates appear for their class 12 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates must have compulsorily studied Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering as an optional subject.
Candidates who have qualified any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will also deemed eligible to appear for the entrance test.OR
Candidates who have passed or are in their final year of Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana will also be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET 2020.
Candidates must have secured minimum 45% aggregate score in all subjects combined. Candidates belonging to the reserved category must have scored minimum 40% marks.
JNTU Kakinada will release the AP EAMCET application form 2020 on February 26. The application form of AP EAMCET 2020 will be available in online mode. Candidates who will successfully apply for the entrance exam will only be able to sit for the paper and considered for further admission process.
