AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
All of the candidates were required to meet the determined AP EAMCET eligibility criteria 2018 for B.Tech admissions. Various criteria related to nationality, domicile and educational qualification had to be met by the candidates.
The candidates should be of Indian nationality. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders were also eligible for admissions through AP EAMCET 2018.
All of the candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. It was important for the candidates to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as per the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
The candidates should have reached 16 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. AP EAMCET 2018 had no upper age limit.
For B.Tech Dairy Technology, B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech Food Science & Technology, the candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. The upper age limit of the applicants belonging to General category had to be 22 years, while for SC/ST category candidates must be 25 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year.
Should have qualified or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2th standard) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering. Candidates who have qualified any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana were also termed eligible for admission.
The candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
In the qualifying examination, the candidates should have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category) in the subjects taken.
AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form
JNTU Kakinada had released the application form of AP EAMCET 2018 from February 28 to March 29 in online mode. Before filling the application form, all candidates were required to read the eligibility criteria of AP EAMCET 2018 carefully. The candidates had to submit their detailed personal and academic information in the application form to be registered for the entrance examination.
