To apply for the AP EAMCET exam, students must have passed 10+2 examinations with relevant subjects, securing a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.     Nationality

    • Candidates should be a National resident of India.

    • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be eligible to apply for AP EAMCET 2026.

    Domicile Requirements

    Candidates hailing from Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will have to satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements

    Age Limit

    • Candidates applying for Engineering and Pharmacy courses must meet the AP EAMCET age limit date as at least 16 years of age as of December 31, 2026, and there is no upper age limit for these programs.

    • There is no upper age limit for applying for AP EAPCET 2026 according to AP EAMCET reservation criteria.

    • For specific courses like B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2026. The upper age limit for all candidates is 22 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it is 25 years as of December 31, 2026.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Candidates must have passed their class 12 from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, candidates appearing for their class 12 are also eligible to apply.

    • Candidates must have compulsorily studied Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering as an optional subject.

    • Candidates who have qualified for any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana will also be deemed eligible to appear for the entrance test.

    • Candidates who have passed or are in their final year of the Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana will also be eligible to appear for AP EAPCET 2026.

    Marks Required

    • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate score in all subjects combined. For candidates belonging to the reserved category AP EAMCET mark’s required is 40%.

    Weightage

    • Candidates shall be ranked based on the EAPCET normalised marks (75% weightage) and 10+2 (25% weightage) in the order of merit.
