Right Revision

After you complete the syllabus of JEE Main 2019, REVISE IT.

Revision is a must do ritual when you are preparing for JEE Main.

Revise everything that comes your way that has JEE Main syllabus topics.

Revise numericals, formulaes, theories, concepts – Everything.

If you will not revise, there are high chances that you start forgetting what you have studied. So, to retain what you have learned for JEE Main, revise.

To revise, pick up the sample papers of JEE Main of past years and start solving them. This will bring out your flaws and you will be able to rectify them within time. These shortcomings should not be carried to the examination hall.

It is also advisable to take up the mock test of JEE Main as it will allow you to practise for the exam in computer based mode, exactly how the exam will be conducted.

Right Attitude

Adopt the right attitude for JEE Main. Stay positive and high on life.

Don't let anything negative pressurise you in any way.

Follow an optimistic attitude while preparing for the exam, while appearing in the exam and also after the exam.

Remember, the right attitude in life can take you places.

Wishing all the very best to all the candidates of JEE Main 2019.

MERA TWELFTH KA EXAM 2020 ME THA BUT SOME PROBLEMS MAINE EXAM NAHI DIYA AB 2021 ME MAI TWELFTH KA EXAM DUNGA TO MAI 2021 AND 2022 DONO MAI JEE AND ADVANCED DE SAKATA HU YA ONLY JEE MAINS DE SANTA HU

Aditya Kumar Student Expert 26th May, 2020
Hi Sumit

One can give JEE Mains examination for 3 consecutive years starting from the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination

Now, there are 2 situations in your case :-

  • If you had filled the board examination form this year in 2020 but didn't appear for it and will appear for board exam in 2021 then you will be eligible for only 2 years i.e for jee mains 2021 and 2022 and jee advance as well

  • If you hadn't filled then board examination form and will appear for your 12th examination in 2021 then you will be eligible for 3 years i.e for JEE mains 2021, jee mains 2022 and jee mains 2023 and you will be eligible for JEE advanced as well after qualifying JEE mains, but for jee advance you can appear only only twice

Thank you

MREA TWELFTH KA EXAM 2019-20 ME THA PAR MENE NAHI DIYA HEALTH PROBLEMS KE KARAN TO MERE PAS KITANE ATTEMPT BACHE HAI JEE AND ADVANCE KA? KYA MAI 2021-22 ME ONLY JEE DE SAKATA HU PLEASE REPLY IN DETAILS

Ayush 26th May, 2020

Hello ,

See , for JEE Mains every candidate has 3 attempts . One in year you are appearing for 12th exam and next  two consecutive year , if you don't appear in any of them due to any reason your one chance is gone , so now you have two chances left one next year and another next  to next year . Means you can give JEE Mains in 2021 and 2022 both .

But keep in mind JEE Advance only give you 2 chances so you was unable to appear  now this year you have only one chance left that is next year . So you can give JEE Advance in 2021 but not in 2022 .

Hope this will help you.

Thanks .

will it affect me in taking admission to any college through jee mains as my percentage changed to73 from 73.6 as i had made correction in it today but it is showing 73 only(sc category) my marks in class 12 was 368/500 what can i do now am i elligible for advanced exan will this becheck later ornot

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 26th May, 2020

Ankur, for the corrections to reflect on your application it will take a while. That is the reason, it is suggested that you take a print out of the confirmation page to the changes you have made. Even if printout is n ot a possibility, taking a screenshot of the page should do. Right now, give it a day or 2 because eitherways the correction window is open until May 31st. Even after 48 hours, if it doesnt change, try to make the changes again. If the system doesn't allow you, please mail the helpdesk at: jeemain@nta.ac.in (mailto:jeemain@nta.ac.in) . This should be resolved.

do u have any idea when this lockdown end so that i can calculate my preparation time for jee mains accordingly

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 26th May, 2020

Raja, the current lockdown will be completed by May 31st. That is another 4- 5 days. Now to be honest, lockdown has got nothing to do with preparation. Infact Lockdown gives you more time at hand than juggling from school to tutions and then JEE Mains preparation. But just to answer your questions, the current lockdown period ends on May 31st and the next course of action will be decided based on the situation until May 31st. As the relaxations have been made, it is only a matter of time before things get back to normalcy.
