Eligibility Criteria for UP BTech Admission 2024

The authority will release the eligibility criteria for UP BTech admission 2024 online. Candidates need to check the information brochure to know the UP BTech admission 2024 eligibility criteria. The eligibility is the condition that candidates need to fulfil to be eligible for BTech admission in the colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The candidates applying for UP BTech 2024 admission must fulfil the eligibility criteria. UP BTech admission eligibility criteria 2024 will be updated soon after the official announcement.

UP B.Tech Admisson Eligibility

Subjects	Candidates should have studied Physics & Mathematics (mandatory subjects) and Chemistry/ BioTechnology / Biology/ Technical Vocational subject (Any one subject).
Minimum Marks	Candidates should have passed qualifying examination with 45% scores (40% in SC/ST category)
Minimum Age	There is no age limit to apply for UP BTech admission.
Exam passed	The candidates must have passed the JEE Main exam.

Application process of UP BTech Admission 2024

Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling will release the UP BTech admission 2024 application form online. The eligible candidates will be able to register for UP BTech 2024 admission in online mode. UP BTech 2024 application process consists of registration, form filling, uploading of required documents, and application fee payment. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form for BTech admission 2024.

Step-1: Candidates have to fill out the registration form of UP BTech using a unique Email ID and Mobile No.
Step 2: Fill out the application form by entering the required details and after submission of the application form the application number will be generated. Note down the application number for future reference.
Step 3: Upload the scanned documents in a specified format such as Photograph, and signature, for PwD candidates (Medical Certificate).
Step-4: Pay the application fee of UP BTech using online mode. Candidates can pay the fees using HDFC Bank/SBI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
Download, save, and print copies of the confirmation page after successful payment for future reference.

UP B.Tech Tie-Breaking Procedure

In case of the same scores, the applications with less negative marking will be given preference.
In case ties persist, the candidates having more aggregate marks in the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry section of Paper 1 together will be given preference.
If the tie is still not broken, the older candidates will be given preference.

UP BTech Counselling 2024

UPTAC will announce the UP BTech 2024 counselling notification online at the website, uptac.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who qualified the JEE Main exam will be eligible to participate in the UPTAC counselling process. The counselling will be held in 5 rounds and 2 special rounds. Follow the below process to participate in the counselling process of UP BTech:

Visit the official website and register for counselling.
After registration, upload the required documents and pay the counselling fee of Rs 1000.
After registration, the candidates' documents will be verified online and SMS/e-mail will be sent to the candidate as a receipt.
Once the document verification is completed, candidates need to log in to the counselling portal and fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses based on their eligibility and preference.
Based on the choices filled by the candidates, the seat allotment process takes place. Seats are allotted to the candidates according to their merit, category, and availability of seats.
After the seat allotment, candidates have to confirm their allocated seat by paying the required fees and reporting to the allotted institute within the given time.
If the candidate is not satisfied, then they can choose freeze/float/withdrawal options.
The authorities will conduct a special round of counselling for those remaining vacant after the initial rounds of counselling.
Candidates who have confirmed their seats must report to the allotted institute as per the schedule.

UP BTech 2024 seat allotment process

The authorities will release the UP BTech 2024 seat allotment result online after each round of the counselling process. The aspirants will be allotted seats based on their performance in the JEE Main exam, seat availability, and choices filled by the applicants. Candidates will be able to check their allotment results on the official website using their login credentials. The candidates who will be allotted a seat must confirm their acceptance within the specified deadline.

The authority will release the list of UP BTech 2024 participating institutions online on the official website. Uttar Pradesh offers a wide range of engineering admissions in various participating institutes. There are approximately 13 government-aided colleges, 8 state universities, and around 200 private/unaided colleges. Candidates should also be aware of BTech fees in government colleges in UP and other institutions too. Knowing the BTech fees in UP will help to decide which college to choose for admission. hlo sir , i am so much tensed from 2-3 days , i have sc category certificate which is made from uttar pradesh and not central certificate it is state certificate but the format is same as per josaa annexure, can i submit it in jee advance form or i have to make central caste certificate, plzz reply
