SRMJEEE Admission Process 2026

To get admission into SRM University and its campuses, candidates need to appear for the SRMJEEE exam. SRM conducts SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam 3 times a year. Candidates have to apply online through srm official website. SRMJEEE exam will be online in remote mode. Aspirants need to complete their registration for the SRMJEEE exam before the due date. SRMJEEE 2026 exam notification will be released tentatively in November 2026.

SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for the SRMJEEE exam have been released on its SRM institutes official website. Candidates who are eligible can apply online with application fees. Aspirants have to check their eligibility before applying for the SRMJEEE examination.

  • Nationality: Indian residents, Non-Resident Indians (NIRs), and holders of PIO are eligible.

  • Age: Candidates should have attained 16 years and 6 months of age by July 31, 2026.

  • Educational Qualification: Applicants have to complete 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology as compulsory subjects.

  • Minimum Marks: Requires a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

SRMJEEE 2026 Remote Proctored Exam

SRMJEEE exam is conducted remotely in candidates own laptops through remotely proctored test. The authority of SRM will release the guidelines on admit card to be followed by candidates at the time of examination. For this exam, candidates need to have a working desktop or laptop. There must be a stable internet connection along with the web camera. An invigilator will monitor this online remote proctored examination with the help of an AI engine to avoid any malpractice during examination.

Different colleges have different ranks for scholarships. In case of most colleges of SRM, the scholarship is for ranks under 150, but in case of SRM Tiruchirappalli, the last rank of scholarship is 6523, and according to the rank 2562, the rank-based scholarship is 15 per cent for students from all 12 std. boards



To get CSE at SRM Delhi-NCR (Sonepat) campus through SRMJEEE, your rank should be around 14,000 to 15,500. This campus has slightly relaxed cutoffs compared to the main Chennai campus, which typically closes CSE around 9,000 or lower. So, a rank under 15,000 gives you a good chance for CSE at the Delhi campus.

However, as per the official scholarship criteria released by SRMIST, only candidates with ranks up to 194 are eligible for merit-based tuition fee waivers. Since your rank falls beyond this range, you will not be eligible for any scholarship or fee concession. Therefore, the annual tuition fee for CSE at SRM KTR for you will be rupees 4,00,000 per year.
