The Answer Key of JEE Main 2020 will be released on the official website. JEE Main 2020 result (January session) will be declared on January 31, 2020.
Careers360: NTA will be conducting JEE Main twice from 2020. What will be the changes in preparation strategies regarding that?
Anu Gupta: Considering the guidelines by NTA and the changes in JEE Main 2020 we are trying to increase the speed of providing study material to the students. We are planning to finish the syllabus once before JEE Main January. As far as class 12 students are concerned there is no reason to worry as we normally finish the class 12 syllabus by October so that the students have enough time for their board preparation. The problem comes with the students who have dropped the year for JEE Main preparation. They normally start preparing from June or July after the results of JEE Main are out for which they appeared after their class 12 exams. Earlier, for them we used to cover the syllabus till February but this time JEE will be held in January as well as in April, therefore, the main motive lies in finishing the syllabus atleast once before the January attempt. After the JEE Main January is concluded and the students starts their preparation for the April session, then the preparation shall be more focussed on revision and practise.
Careers360: Will you advise the students to give both the attempts of January and April?
Anu Gupta: Yes, definitely. I would advise the students to appear for JEE Main January as well as for JEE Main April.
Careers360: Would you like to share some JEE Main preparation tips for the students. What schedule should the students follow to prepare for JEE Main?
Anu Gupta: I would suggest some preparation tips for the students appearing for JEE Main 2020.
I would advise the students to follow whatever instructions are given and complete the homework as suggested by your teachers.
Wandering around and wasting time would do no good.
The students should remember that their competition is not only with the 50-60 students of their class but they have to compete with the lakhs of students appearing for JEE Main 2020. They should make sure that they complete all the prescribed work and studies before heading towards practising from the new books.
I would advise them to stick to the study plan as prescribed by their teachers.
A single minute should not be wasted as time once gone never comes back.
I would also advise them to do not let themselves get demotivated or stressed.
If at some point they feel that they are unable to solve some question, give it some time, refresh your mind, opt for some light reading, read the text books, revise the notes and then try again. This will help them clearing the doubts and solve the question with a fresh mind.
Careers360: Do you think practising from mock tests and sample papers help. Will you advise the students to use it as one of the preparation tip for JEE Main 2020.
-->Anu Gupta: Tests are the best tool to improve your skills for any exam. Try solving the maximum number of mock tests and sample papers as possible. I would suggest the students that as the exam approaches try to give the mock tests very sincerely. If you give the mock tests at the same time as the actual time the exam is supposed to be held then it would be very beneficial. For example if your exam is from 9 to 12 in the morning then try to give the mock test at this same time of the day keeping in mind the body cycle. For example, if you study at night and wake up early and you follow this schedule even on the day before the exam then there are chances that you might feel sleepy during the exam time. Try adjusting the body cycle accordingly at least 2-3 months before the exam.
Careers360: Since JEE Main will completely be a computer based test this time. Do you think students will face any problem regarding that and what strategies they shall follow to avoid any problem during the exam?
Anu Gupta: I would advise the students to give mock tests on computers so that they have practice of attempting the computer based test. Doing this will ensure that they face no problem regarding this while attempting the exam.
Careers360: Please suggest some important topics for JEE Main preparation 2020
Anu Gupta: According to me all the topics are important but in the previous few years the paper has been focused more on class 12 topics and specially the topic which are towards the end of the class 12. So, I would suggest not to skip any of those topics.
Careers360: Please suggest any important books for JEE Main preparation.
Anu Gupta: As far as books are concerned, being a Physics faculty I can suggest books of Physics. I would advise the students to study thoroughly the Concepts of Physics by HC Verma. The study material provided by the coaching should be completed thoroughly. Also, NCERT exempler is a good book for JEE Main.
Careers360: Do you want to convey any inspiring message for the JEE Main aspirants.
Anu Gupta: I would advise the students to be confident. When you are appearing for the exam, keeping yourself calm and cool is very important. A basic problem that I find is that when the students are appearing for the exam they forget that JEE Main is different from Class 12 boards. In Class 12 boards, you need to score a good percent of marks while in JEE Main the target is not to score a 100 percent but a 100 percentile. Do not panic if you find the question paper to be tough, stay calm and remember that the paper is tough for everyone and give your best. The other scenario is to find the paper very easy, in that case do not be overconfident because the paper might be easy for others as well. Whether the paper is easy or tough you need to give your hundred percent. Prepare well and give your best. Good luck!!

i m jee aspirant aiming for feb attempt would be my best attempt. my problem is i m not able to split my time schedule to tests and practise, like when to give test and how can i complete around 60 chapters efficiently so that i could score good in final so what should me time table in detail??
You must make sure that you sit for at least 3 hours to make a habit of giving tests for 3 hours. You can give 2-3 tests daily for good results and to complete whole syllabus before the examination. If you wish you can also practice chaptee- wise questions. Give yourself enough time to rest between two tests. You can attempt one test in the morning, one in the afternoon amd one at night and in between that you might revise things and take a bit of rest. You can also split your time subject wise. The subject that you think us a tough one, you can practice it's questions in the morning, when you are most energetic and the, easiest one at the last.

I passed 12 th in 2019, can I pass 12 th in again 2022 and sit in jee advanced
If you want to study class 11th and 12th again and if you have already passed once then you will have to do it from a different board and probably a state board.I believe this is not a good option because this will waste your 2 years. Instead you should give improvement exam and and enhance your marks.
Again the decision is yours, take wisely.
Goodluck
