The following parameters will be taken into consideration by the official authorities for determining the NIT Raipur cutoff 2025 for JEE Main.
Almost 12 engineering courses are offered at NIT Raipur wherein admission is offered through JEE Main.
The JEE Main cutoff for NIT Raipur reflects the minimum marks that a candidate should have scored for admission in the institute.
Yes, there is different cutoff for home state and other state candidates.
The passing marks of JEE Main 2025 are: 90.78 (Gen); 0.001 (Gen-PwD); 75.62 (EWS), 73.61 (OBC-NCL); 51.98 (SC) and 37.23 (ST)
To be eligible for NIT Raipur, candidates must qualify the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks in Class XII (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be within the top 20 percentile in their respective Class XII board examination.
Yes, candidates with an 80 percentile in JEE Mains may have a chance to secure admission to NIT Raipur, depending on the cutoff and seat availability.
Candidates with a percentile between 85 and 95 in JEE Mains may have a good chance of getting a seat in NITs, especially in branches with lower cutoff ranks.
The safe score for JEE Main 2025 is expected to range between 175 and 185.
Hello Radha ,
I hope you are doing well. As per your mentioned query, yes jee advanced is mandatory for AAT exam. Only the qualifiers of JEE advanced can attempt the Architecture Aptitude Test.

Good luck!
Gurmehar singh ahuja from delhi secured 47 rank in jee mains barch 2025
Hello Vishal,
With 70 percentile in JEE Mains and OBC category, your approximate
CRL rank
would be around
2.5 to 3 lakh
, and your
OBC rank
might fall between
80,000 to 1,00,000
(this can vary slightly). Based on this, getting admission into top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs for core branches like CSE or ECE is difficult, but you still have some decent options:
You can prefer the following types of colleges:
State Government Engineering Colleges
Many states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, MP, UP, and Haryana accept JEE Main scores for their counselling (like MP DTE, Haryana HSTES, etc.). You have better chances in your
home state quota
.
Private Colleges with Good Reputation
Consider reputed private universities that accept JEE scores:
VIT (though it conducts VITEEE)
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
SRM Institute of Science and Technology
Shiv Nadar University
UPES Dehradun
LNCT Bhopal
Galgotias University
Colleges under CSAB Special Round
Participate in CSAB special round after JoSAA; sometimes lower-rank students get seats in GFTIs or lesser-known NIT branches (like Civil, Metallurgy, or Biotechnology).
State-Level Counselling Based on JEE Score
If your state accepts JEE score for B.Tech admissions, you may get a seat in a government college using your
category rank
.
Tips:
Choose colleges where you get a full-time B.Tech degree and decent placement records.
Consider branches other than CSE if you're open to other options like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.
Be ready to appear for spot rounds or management quota seats in private colleges if needed.
I would recommend you to use the JEE Mains College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Scoring 66 percentile in JEE Mains means you are eligible for some private and state-level engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh (UP), but admission to top government colleges like NITs, IIITs, or top state engineering colleges may be difficult.
Here are some options where you might get admission based on your percentile:
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ghaziabad
KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad
JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida
Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida
IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad
Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad (AKGEC)
Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) Kanpur (if seats remain vacant)
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) affiliated colleges (Many private colleges under AKTU accept lower percentiles)
Dear Candidate ,
Your cousin , with 93 % in Tamil Nadu state Board and a 51 percentile in JEE Main , has a a fair chance of getting admission to the ECE branch at SASTRA university under stream 2 . Stream 2 admissions are based solely on class 12 board marks , and since she has a strong academic percentage, she stands a reasonable chance , especially for ECE , which is generally slightly less competitive than CSE . While stream 1 is more competitive due to inclusion of JEE scores , her JEE percentile is not high enough to secure admission through that route .
