Hello,

Based on previous trends, if you are scoring 164 out of 300 in JEE Mains , your percentile could be around 97-98 percentile .

However, the exact percentile depends on factors like the difficulty level of the exam , total candidates appearing , and normalization process .

You can also use our JEE Main Percentile Predictor Tool to predict your percentile based on the score.

Hope it helps !

Hey Abhishek !

Yes, when you renew your EWS certificate after March 31, 2025, it may have a different certificate number. However, this is not a problem for JEE counseling.

During registration, you will have to upload a valid EWS certificate, which means the one issued after April 1, 2025. As long as you provide a valid certificate at the time of counseling, there won’t be any issues .

Hope it helps !

Hello,

With 63 percentile in JEE Main 2025 and a rank around 5 lakh, getting Biomedical Engineering at SGSITS Indore is difficult.

In previous years, the closing rank for OBC home state candidates was much lower (around 1.7-2.8 lakh). Though SGSITS offers Biomedical Engineering in Hindi, your rank is quite far from the cutoff. You may explore other colleges or branches with lower cutoffs.

You can use our JEE Main College Predictor Tool to predict which college you can get based on your score.

Hope it helps !

With a 92.6 percentile in JEE Mains under the OBC category and Madhya Pradesh as your home state, your estimated rank is around 66,000. At SGSITS Indore, you have a good chance of getting into branches like:

- Electronics and Instrumentation: With a cutoff rank of 108,434 for OBC candidates in 2023.

- Electrical: Having a cutoff rank of 120,231 for OBC candidates in 2023.

- Mechanical: With a cutoff rank of 163,603 for OBC candidates in 2023.

- Civil: Having a cutoff rank of 154,695 for OBC candidates in 2023.

- Industrial & Production: With a cutoff rank of 421,602 for OBC candidates in 2023.

- Biomedical Engineering: Having a cutoff rank of 678,608 for OBC candidates in 2023.

However, admission to *Computer Engineering* and *IT* might be challenging due to higher cutoffs. Keep in mind that cutoffs can vary yearly based on competition and seat availability. To get a better idea, consider using JEE Mains College Predictor tool

Hello,

For JEE 2025, the deleted topics from the NCERT syllabus will not be included in the exam. NTA has confirmed that JEE Main will follow the revised syllabus . So, the topics removed from the NCERT books will not be asked in the exam.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

If you've missed the GUJCET form and haven't prepared extensively for JEE, you can still consider several private engineering colleges in Gujarat that offer B.Tech admissions . Some institutions may provide direct admissions based on your 12th-grade performance, especially if fees are not a concern.

Here are some options:

  • Nirma University, Ahmedabad
  • Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar
  • Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar
  • Ganpat University, Mehsana
  • A. D. Patel Institute of Technology (ADIT), Anand

Hope it helps !

Hello there,

Your son has a strong 95.2% percentile in JEE Mains, which gives him a good chance for CS in decent colleges through COMEDK and Manipal. Here's a clear plan:

  1. Current Applications:

    • Manipal: Good chance for CS at Manipal or Jaipur campus.
    • VIT Vellore: High chance of getting CS in the second or third category.
    • COMEDK: Likely to secure CS in top colleges like RV, BMS, or MSRIT with that percentile.

    • BITS: If he's comfortable with ECE in Goa, that's a strong backup option since BITS has good placement in both CS and ECE.

  2. Additional Applications: No need to apply to more private universities unless you want extra backup.

  3. Symbiosis vs Kalinga:

    • Symbiosis: Better for management and business fields, not as strong in engineering.

    • Kalinga (KIIT): Better for engineering with strong infrastructure and placement in CS and IT fields.

Recommendation: KIIT is a better choice for engineering.

Overall, the current options (Manipal, VIT, COMEDK, BITS) are sufficient for CS. KIIT could be a backup, but Symbiosis is less suitable for CS.

Hello Bhumika,

No, you cannot attempt JEE Advanced in 2027 if you fail to clear it in 2026.

You are only allowed to attempt JEE Advanced twice in two consecutive years after completing your 12th. If you appear for JEE Mains in 2026 and qualify but don’t clear JEE Advanced, you will need to reappear for JEE Mains in 2027 to qualify for JEE Advanced. However, 2027 will be your last attempt for JEE Advanced since the eligibility is limited to two consecutive years after 12th.
