JoSAA 2025: Number of Seats Increased for IITs, NITs

JoSAA 2025 Number of Seats Increased - The Joint Seat Allocation Authority is conducting the JoSAA counselling 2025. The authority has published the seat matrix for JoSAA 2025 online at josaa.nic.in. This year, there are 128 institutes participating in the JoSAA counselling for admission. Admission to IITs is based on the JEE Advanced exam. Admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs is done based on the JEE Mains exam. There are a total of 62,853 seats for JoSAA 2025 across all the participating institutes. The total seats in IITs has increased to 18160, while the number of seats at NITs and IIITs has increased to 24525 and 9940, respectively.
