WBJEE Merit List 2020 - West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will be releasing WBJEE 2020 merit list in online mode. Candidates will be able to access the WBJEE merit list 2020 along with the official result. The ranks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination will be available through the merit list of WBJEE 2020. The authorities will prepare the merit list by checking the scores secured in WBJEE. Separate merit list of WBJEE 2020 will be released for different categories. On the basis of WBJEE merit list, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling procedure. WBJEE 2020 was held on February 2 as a pen and paper based examination. The examination will consist of two papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry).

Steps to check WBJEE Merit List 2020

Candidates will be able to check the merit list of WBJEE In online mode. The given steps can be followed by the authorities to check the WBJEE merit list:

  • Go to the official website (wbjeeb.nic.in).

  • Click on the merit list link

  • Candidates will have to provide their application form number and password

  • Click on “Submit”

  • The merit list will be displayed on the screen as a pdf.

  • The candidates will have to download the pdf for future use.

  • Separate merit list will be prepared for each category.

  • While preparing the merit list, the overall marks secured by the candidates will be considered by the authorities. The secured marks will be available in WBJEE 2020 result.

  • Candidates will be listed out in the order of highest to lowest rank secured in the entrance exam.

  • If two or more candidates secure the same ranks, then the authorities will follow a normalization procedure.

  • 10% seats in all Self-Financed Engineering & Technology colleges in West Bengal are reserved for JEE Main qualified candidates.

Tie-breaking procedure for WBJEE Merit List 2020

There may arise a situation when two or more candidates secure the same ranks in the entrance examination. In such cases, the following guidelines will be followed to break the tie in the given order.

  • Those candidates who have less negative aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank.

  • If the tie exists, those candidates who have secured more positive marks in Mathematics and Physics will be given a higher rank.

  • If the tie is still not broken, then candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be allotted a higher rank.

  • If the tie is not resolved, the candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics for only 2 mark questions will be given a higher rank.

  • If the tie is not broken, the candidates with more positive marks in Physics for only 2 mark questions will be given a higher rank.

  • Candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry for only 2 mark questions will be given a higher rank if the tie is still not broken.

  • If still the authorities are not able to resolve the tie, candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics for only 2 mark questions will be allotted a higher rank.

  • Candidates with less negative marks in Physics for only 2 mark questions will be given a higher rank if the tie still persists.

  • Finally, if the tie still remains, the candidate older in age will be allotted a higher rank.

Hello student yes if you're preparing for WBJEE then you can also crack IMU-CET AS the syllabus of both of the examination are almost same.
IMU CET is for admission into top Marine college.
Most cover NCERT first before jumping into any reference book.
Eligibility is candidates must passed class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 60 percent marks from a recognized board.


Refer Hc Verma concept of physics vol1and vol 2
Refer op tondon for chemistry
And refer rd Sharma for maths numericals.

1. UPTU examination

2. BITSAT examination

3. VITEEE

4. KCET

Except for these 4 there are several other examinations that you can attempt.

Hey,
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release WBJEE 2020 result in March.  The answer  key of WBJEE has already been released on February 17. The board will be announcing the WBJEE result 2020 in form of scorecard. Candidates will be able to check their results online.

Where do wbjee exam will be conducted

Hello,

WBJEE has already been conducted on 2nd Feb, 2020. It's conducted once a year for admission to BTech and other professional undergraduate courses. Answer key for the conducted exam too have released. The tentative date for results is March.
