Haryana B.Tech Admission 2019 - HSTES has announced the third seat allotment of Haryana B.Tech admission 2019. Candidates can now check the allotment in online mode. The first and second round of seat allotment result for Haryana B.Tech admission was released on June 26 and July 5, respectively in online mode. The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) has earlier conducted the counselling for TFW, EWS, KM students. The application form of Haryana B.Tech Admission 2019 for TFW/EWS/KM & HGST categories was available till June 13, 2019. The authorities is conducting Haryana B.Tech admission 2019 to University Departments, Govt/Govt. Aided/ Private Institutions located in the State. Haryana B.Tech admission 2019 will be on the scores of JEE Main 2019 and 10+2 or equivalent exam. In Haryana B.Tech 2019 admission, 85% seats will be for candidates from Haryana whereas 15% seats will be filled by candidates from outside Haryana. On the basis of details provided in the application form, the authorities have released Haryana B.Tech 2019 merit list; candidates having their name in the list will have to participate in the counselling procedure. Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to participate in Haryana B.Tech 2019 counselling:

HSTES has released the merit list of Haryana B.Tech 2019 in online mode separately for Kashmiri Migrants and HGST candidates. To check the merit list, candidates will have to mention their course and roll number and submit the details. Haryana B.Tech 2019 merit has been prepared on the basis of JEE Main 2019 scores of the candidates and has been released for each category. Candidates are invited for counselling and seat allotment procedure on the basis of Haryana B.Tech merit list 2019.
The eligibility criteria of Haryana B.Tech 2019 admission has been prescribed by HSTES for candidates applying. Haryana B.Tech 2019 eligibility criteria will have certain parameters related to qualifying exam, age etc which candidates will have to fulfil.
These parameters will differ for regular candidates, Kashmiri migrants (KM), Haryana Government School Toppers and candidates applying under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme.
Qualifying exam subjects and scores for regular candidates, KM, HSGT and TFW
To be eligible for B.Tech, candidates need to have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university with minimum 45% marks.
Candidates must have scored these marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
For those belonging to reserved categories like SC need to have 42.75 % in the subjects mentioned above to be eligible.
For B.Tech in Biotechnology
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics/ Biology along with any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-Tech., Computer Science.
Haryana B.Tech Admission Procedure 2019 for KM, HGST & TFW category candidates
Candidates applying as Kashmiri Migrants will get supernumerary seats on the basis of inter-se merit of qualifying exam. The percentage will be calculated on the basis of their scores in Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following subjects (whichever will be the highest) Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. Such candidates will be required to produce their original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner.
For those applying under Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST) category, they will get seats in each branch in the Govt./ Aided/ University Department/ Private institutes offering B.Tech programmes on the basis of the inter se merit of their 10+2 of 2019 out of each topper (having minimum second division i.e. 50% marks in aggregate) of Govt. Senior Secondary School offering Science Stream (having minimum 5 students on roll in the Science stream), subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The candidates will have to produce a certificate in support of their claim from the Principal/ Headmaster of the Govt. School of which the candidate has topped.
Tuition Fee Waiver category candidates for B.Tech will also get supernumerary seats. Haryana B.Tech 2019 admission under AICTE Scheme of Tuition Fee Waiver is meant for economically weaker students. These seats will be filled for all institutions approved by the council, on the basis of JEE Main 2019 counselling.
EWS candidates will have maximum 10% of the sanctioned intake per course in educational institutions other than the minority educational institutions approved by AICTE.
The application form of Haryana B.Tech 2019 was released by authorities on May 14. Candidates had to fill and submit Haryana B.Tech 2019 application form along with the application fee on or before the end date.

In UIET,kurukshetra they take admissions on the basis of NATA/ JEE with 10+2 percentage.10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as optional.
They have not specifically mentioned any percentage in there website,but according to some students its above 60 to 65 %.They also check the individual score of Main subjects.
