Hello,
With a 90 percentile in the JEE Mains 2025, your chances of securing a seat in prestigious colleges like JNTU Hyderabad (JNTUH) or VNR VJIET (Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering & Technology) depend on several factors such as your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.), the specific branch you are targeting, and the annual cutoffs for these colleges.
For JNTUH , being one of the top engineering colleges in Telangana, the competition is fierce. Typically, for a general category student, the cutoff ranks for popular branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) are much lower (i.e., require a higher percentile, often above 97-98). However, for less competitive branches, a 90 percentile may give you a chance, especially if you belong to a reserved category.
In the case of VNR VJIET , the cutoffs are slightly more lenient compared to JNTUH but still competitive. A 90 percentile might give you a fair chance of securing a seat, particularly if you're open to branches beyond CSE or ECE and belong to a reserved category.
You should also check the specific cutoffs for these colleges once released and consider state-level entrance exams like TS EAMCET for better chances.
You can also use the college predictor tool to predict which college you can get based on your score/rank :

Hope it helps !
Hello,
The questions in JEE Mains on physical quantities will deal with the most basic facts of physics and their applications. Some examples of the nature of questions that may be asked are given below.
Definition and Units: Certain problems will ask you to define physical quantities like mass, velocity, acceleration, force, work, energy, and power together with their SI units. For instance, "What is the SI unit of force, and how is it defined?"
Dimensional Analysis: You will need to write in the dimensions of several physical quantities. What are the dimensions of work and power?
Vector and Scalar Quantities: You will likely be asked to distinguish between scalar and vector quantities. For example, you might be presented with a question like this: "Which of the following is a scalar quantity: speed, velocity, or acceleration?"
Applications in Problems: You will likely face problems where you have to apply concepts of physical quantities-for example, calculate work done, or the resultant force in a particular situation.
This manner, you'll be better equipped to handle such queries.
To gain admission through JEE Mains, you can consider government engineering colleges like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee, along with National Institutes of Technology (NITs) like NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Warangal, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Calicut; all of which accept JEE Mains scores for admission.
You can for the Delhi Technological University, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT Mumbai), and the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur
Here is the list of more government college of engineering through jee mains
A career in the aviation industry always sounds exciting. But, there is no scope for the slightest error as it may cost the lives of many people. A Flight Engineer role comes with the responsibility of monitoring the aircraft engine and control systems while in flight. Whenever the aircraft is away from the home station, he or she is required to perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
An aircrew officer or airline commanders fly aircraft to provide transportation to passengers or cargo. The aircrew officer operates the engines of aircraft and controls to navigate and fly the airplane. The ability to learn new technologies every time and to stay up-to-date with the changes in the industry is what the aircrew officer should possess.
This could be possible through membership with professional pilot associations. The aircrew officer is also one of the highest-paid professionals and the job is quite coveted. Keep reading to find out what you need to know about how to become aircrew officer.
You may also read career as Airline Pilot.
An Aeronautical Engineer job comes with the responsibility of designing aircraft and thrust systems. He or she is employed in aviation, defence or civil aviation industries.
