Is JEE Main Registration Started for 2026? : Yes, NTA has started JEE Main 2026 registration from October 31 to November 27, 2025. Candidates were able to fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students were advised to check the JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria before applying. Yes, the registration for JEE Main 2026 has been started on October 31, 2025 and also concluded on November 27, 2025. JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria before applying for the JEE Main 2026:

  • There is no age limit for the exam.

  • Students who passed the class 12th exam or equivalent in 2024, 2025 or are appearing in 2026 can do the JEE Main NTA 2026 registration.

  • Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with either one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

  • General category students should have scored at least 75% in their class 12th for engineering and 50% for B.Planning for admission to NITs, IIITs and such other CFTIs.

  • Candidates can attempt JEE Main two times a year for regular 3 years.

JEE Main 2026 Application Process

The JEE Main application form for 2026 is released online at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA has already released a demo link for the JEE Main registration. Candidates can follow these steps how to fill the JEE Main 2026 application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Candidates will now have to register themselves using their name, father's name, mother's name, gender, and others.

Step 3: Now, again log in using the credentials generated in the registration process.

Step 4: Provide academic and personal details.

Step 5: Upload the scanned images of signature and passport-sized photograph as specified.

Step 6: Pay the application fees and submit the form.
