    Is JEE Main Registration Started for 2026? The NTA has restarted the JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration from March 12 to 13, 2026.     JEE Main 2026 Application Process

    The JEE Main application form for 2026 has been released online on February 1, 2026, at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates were required to follow these steps to fill the JEE Main 2026 application form:

    Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in

    Step 2: Candidates will now have to register themselves using their name, father's name, mother's name, gender, and others.

    Step 3: Now, again log in using the credentials generated in the registration process.

    Step 4: Provide academic and personal details.

    Step 5: Upload the scanned images of your signature and passport-sized photograph as specified.

    Step 6: Pay the application fees and submit the form.

    Can I Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration?

    Yes, candidates can apply for the second session of JEE Main 2026. Those who appeared in the January session are eligible to apply again for the April attempt to improve their scores. Candidates who missed Session 1 can also directly register for Session 2 once the application window opens on the official website.

    JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria before applying for the JEE Main 2026:

    • There is no age limit for the exam.

    • Students who passed the class 12th exam or equivalent in 2024, 2025 or are appearing in 2026 can do the JEE Main NTA 2026 registration.

    • Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with either one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

    • General category students should have scored at least 75% in their class 12th for engineering and 50% for B.Planning for admission to NITs, IIITs and such other CFTIs.

    • Candidates can attempt JEE Main two times a year for regular 3 years.
