    GATE Cutoff 2024- Category Wise CutOff Marks for IIT, NIT, IIIT

    GATE Cutoff 2024- IISc Bangalore will release the GATE 2024 cut off marks for all 30 papers. The cut off of GATE 2024 will be released along with the GATE results. Candidates who will appear for GATE exam will be able to check GATE passing marks at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. IIT GATE Cutoff marks are the minimum marks that candidates must secure to qualify in the exam. GATE qualifying cutoff marks 2024 will be different for all exam papers. Below, candidates can check the previous years’ IIT GATE exam cut off marks

    GATE cutoff for IIT varies as per the category of the candidates. Candidates who score more marks than the GATE passing marks in their respective categories will be eligible for admission to the M.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes of the GATE 2024.     GATE Cutoff 2024

    It must be noted that two types of cutoffs will be released for GATE exam that are qualifying GATE 2024 cutoff and admission cutoff GATE 2024. Candidates can understand the difference between qualifying and admission cutoff marks 2024 of GATE below.

    GATE 2024 Qualifying Cutoff Vs GATE 2024 Admission Cutoff: Students appearing in GATE must know the difference between the GATE qualifying cutoff 2023 and GATE 2023 admission cutoff.

    • GATE Qualifying Cutoff 2024: The GATE 2024 qualifying cutoff is the minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify for the exam. GATE qualifying cutoff marks 2024 will be different for all the 30 subjects. Qualifying GATE Cut off for IIT and NIT will also vary as per the different categories of candidates. The GATE qualifying cutoff is released by the conducting institute along with the declaration of the result.
    • GATE 2024 Admission Cutoff: GATE cutoff 2024 is the minimum qualifying mark required by the candidates to get admission to the participating institutes. The admission cutoff of GATE 2024 will be released by the institute at the time of admission in which admission is desired.

    Factors determining GATE 2024 Cutoff

    The exam conducting authority takes several factors into consideration to deduce the final GATE cut off marks. Below is the list of factors that determine the GATE exam cut off marks

    GATE Cutoff Analysis (2021 vs 2020)

    If we see the GATE cutoff for the year 2021 and 2020; the cutoffs for most of the subjects were decreased from the previous year. For example, the GATE cutoff for CSE was 28.5 in 2020 while it decreased to 26.1 in 2021. Seeing the trend, Candidates can predict the GATE cse 2023 expected cutoff.

    GATE Cutoff Analysis (2020 vs 2019)

    The analysis given below depicts the changes in the qualifying GATE Cutoff 2020 vs 2019. While the official GATE result statistics have announced that only 18.8% of candidates have qualified in the exam. There have been many surprises in the GATE cutoffs with many showing a drastic lowering and some showing an increase. Only Mathematics has shown no changes in the GATE cutoff.
