About Uni-Gauge-E 2020
ERA Foundation conducted Uni-GAUGE-e 2020 on August 19 and the result has been declared on September 3. The exam was conducted in two shifts as a computer-based online exam in around 140 cities across India. The provisional Uni-GAUGE-E answer key was released on August 23. The authorities allowed candidates to challenge the answer key till August 26 (upto 4 pm). Uni-GAUGE-E hall ticket was released on August 11 accessed from the official website. Candidates were able to make corrections in Uni-GAUGE-E application form between June 22 and 25. The Uni-GAUGE application form was reopened on June 14 and was available till June 17. However, before applying for the entrance exam, candidates were advised to go through Uni-GAUGE 2020 eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. The Uni-Gauge-E 2020 exam was conducted for the admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by 17 participating Universities/institutions. Uni-GAUGE 2020 consists of 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the 3 subjects – Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Each question in the entrance exam carries 1 mark.

Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who will be appearing for the entrance exam will have to meet the following prescribed Uni-GAUGE 2020 eligibility criteria. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria, their application form will be rejected and they will not be able to appear for Uni-GAUGE 2020. The eligibility criteria of Uni-GAUGE 2020 carries parameters related to age criteria, qualifying marks, examination etc.
Uni-GAUGE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed PUC or 10+2 or an equivalent exam. Also, they must have physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, and anyone from Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as an optional subject in the qualifying exam. Not only this, it is must for candidates to pass in English.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of is 45% in aggregate (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates) in the qualifying exam. Apart from this, it is a must for candidates to pass in all of the above subjects individually.
Age Limit: Candidate should be minimum 17 years of age as on December 30, 2020. In other words, candidates must born on or before December 31, 2002.
In Case of Diploma Candidates, they can also apply for admission in various B.E/B.Tech courses offered through Uni-GAUGE 2020.
Candidates whose result of qualifying exam will be awaiting in can also apply.
Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Application Process

Candidates were again able to fill Uni-GAUGE 2020 application form in online mode between June 14 and 17. Along with filling of form, candidates were also required to pay the requisite application fees in the preferred mode. However, before filling the application form, candidates had to ensure that they have scanned images of the documents required to upload. For the reference of candidates, mentioned below are the steps to follow while filling the application form Uni-GAUGE 2020.
Steps to Fill Uni-GAUGE 2020 Application Form
Get Registered- Candidates had to enter valid email address and mobile to register for Uni-GAUGE 2020
Fill Online Application From- All the requisite personal, academic, communication address etc details had to be submitted.
Upload Scanned Images of Required Documents- After submitting all the required details, candidates were required to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimension.
Select Test Centre- A maximum of 3 exam centres from the drop-down list in order of your preference had to be selected.
Pay Application Fees- After completely filling the application form, payment of the application fees according to the exam opted by the candidates had to be made. Candidates were able to pay the application fee in online mode (net banking, Credit/debit card). Also, candidates were asked to remember that Uni-GAUGE 2020 application fee is non-refundable in nature. Below is the application fees for candidates reference:

The application form correction facility was available again between June 22 and 25, which was earlier made available to registered candidates in online mode from June 1 to 3, 2020. During the correction period, candidates were able to edit the details entered in the form while filling out the application form.

Duration: 3 hours
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Total Number of Questions: 180 questions (60 from each subject Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry)
Marking Scheme: Every correct response will get 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.
In Case of Tie: Candidates who will have the least negative responses will be considered. Apart from this, if required, other methods may be adapted to break ties.
Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Mock Test
The authorities have released the Uni-GAUGE 2020 mock tests on February 5 for all the candidates preparing for the entrance exam. Candidates can access the mock test without creating any unique log-in id. Attempting a mock test will enable to familiarize with the test pattern. Also, it will enable candidates to check their preparation level. Candidates must note that Physics and Chemistry will be offered as one mock test, while Mathematics as another one.
Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Admit Card
Uni-GAUGE 2020 admit card has been released on August 11 and carries information like the name of the candidate, test centre details, exam details, general instructions for the exam etc. Candidates need to be aware that admit card of Uni-GAUGE 2020 will not be sent personally. The admit card is an important document. Candidates failing to carry admit card to the exam centres will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Answer Key
The authorities have released the provisional answer key of Uni-GAUGE 2020 on August 23. The answer key consists of a correct response to the questions asked during the entrance exam. Candidates can match their responses with Uni-GAUGE 2020 answer key and calculate their expected scores. In case of discrepancy in the answer key, candidates were able to raise the objection along with the documented proof till August 26 (upto 4 pm). After considering the feedback, the final answer key has also been released by the authorities on August 31.

Uni-Gauge-E 2020 Counselling
Mode of Counselling: Offline
To participate in the counselling and seat allotment process, candidates need to have qualified Uni-GAUGE 2020 entrance exam. There will be no common Uni-GAUGE 2020 counselling and seat allotment process for admission to participating institutes. Candidates will have to apply to different participating institutes as they will conduct their own counselling and seat allotment process. Using the Uni-GAUGE 2020 score card and other prescribed documents, the candidate will be able to apply separately to individual participating institutes. Each participating institutes will prepare the merit list separately based on the scores received by them and then will invite candidates for counselling process. However, before applying for the counselling process, candidates must meet and confirm their eligibility for the course offered by a participating institute.
