As mentioned NTA has no guidelines for JEE Main dress code 2024, it is however advised to follow the below-mentioned advisory while appearing in the exam. There is no prescribed JEE Main uniform but candidates must dress appropriately keeping the following pointers in mind. JEE Main 2024 Dress Code for Male Candidates
Male candidates who will be appearing in JEE Main are advised to follow the below-mentioned JEE Main dress code 2024 for males on the day of the exam-
- Candidates must not wear any cloth consisting of metallic items. Metallic items cause problems during frisking and must be avoided.
- Students are not allowed to wear a cap/ muffler or any cloth over their heads.
- Candidates must wear lightweight comfortable clothes to avoid discomfort during writing the exam.
- Wearing any kind of jewellery or ornaments is strictly prohibited.
- Do not wear accessories such as goggles, rings, bracelets or any of such items.

Many female candidates will be appearing for NTA JEE Main 2024. However, female candidates need to follow the JEE dress code 2024 for girls. - Students are advised to visit the exam venue one day before the exam date to know the route and travel time to avoid unavoidable conditions on exam day.
- Students must reach the exam venue at least one hour in advance to avoid last-minute hassle.
- Students must carry their JEE Main 2024 admit card along with one passport-size coloured photograph and a valid photo ID proof.
- Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear in the exam without an admit card, photograph, and photo ID proof.

Candidates who are Diabetic are allowed to carry sugar tablets, fruits like bananas, oranges, or apples, and a transparent water bottle. Diabetic students are advised to keep a check on their health before and in between the exams to avoid any health issues.
