JEE Main Dress Code 2019 - NTA has commenced JEE Main 2019 for January session from January 9 to 12. Since, it is the first time that the NTA will be conducting the national level engineering entrance examination therefore appearing candidates might be curious to know about the JEE Main 2019 dress code. Candidates appearing for JEE Main can clear their doubts from this article related to the dress code like what to wear and what not to on the day of the exam. Though NTA has not set up any official guidelines related to the dress code of JEE Main 2019 but students are advised to wear proper clothes considering the weather conditions and other factors. JEE Main 2019 is being conducted from January 9 to 12 in computer based mode (CBT). The examination would be conducted in 467 Centres in 258 Cities (09 outside India).

JEE Main 2019 Dress Code For Male Candidates

  • Avoid wearing light clothes considering the cold weather.

  • Do not wear any winter caps and mufflers as they might face problem while frisking.

  • Avoid wearing body hugging clothes like tight fitting jeans.

  • Do not wear any kind of watch as watches are not allowed inside the examination hall.

  • Do not wear rings, bracelets, chain or any other metal accessories.

  • Do not wear shades, goggles unless necessary 


JEE Main 2019 Dress Code For Female Candidates

  • Wear comfy woolen clothes because of the cold weather.

  • Do not wear any kind of heavy jewellery, rings, bracelets or any other metal accessory.

  • Avoid wearing body fitting clothes

  • Try not to wear sweaters or cardigans with heavy and decorative buttons on it.

  • Avoid wearing goggles unless necessary

  • Do not wear watches

  • No caps, mufflers or shawls is allowed inside the examination hall.


Exam Day Guidelines

Read the exam day guidelines to be followed on the day of the examination:

  • Visit the venue one day prior to the exam.

  • Report exam centre before time as per the allotted shift.

  • Don’t forget to carry admit card and valid photo id proof.

  • Maintain the expected decorum in the exam hall.

  • Do not carry any prohibited items to the examination hall.

  • Enter required details in the attendance sheet, put signature and paste photograph at the designated place.

  • Ensure that the left thumb impression should be clear and not smudge on the attendance sheet. 

  • No bags will be allowed to be carried inside the exam hall.


JEE Main 2019 Exam Day Guidelines for Diabetic Candidates 
The diabetic candidates will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle. However, they are not allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/ sandwich into the examination hall

what rank should i get in jee mains to join j.n.t.u

To my knowledge JNTUH do not consider JEE ranks

Getting into JNTUH require you to appear in EAMCET and through counseling depending upon your rank you will get admission in either JNTUH or its affiliated colleges.

To join some best colleges of your own state, you need to be get a rank under 2500 and if you want a college from another state then you need to get a rank under 1,000 to be on safer side.

Its very easy to prepare for jee paper 2.First of all you need to cover all the topics before the exam.Go through the each and every topic of jee.You have to revise previous question paper.Make sure you attempt paper accurately and save time.

Presently , Im in class 12th with Maths Stream. I have scored 81% in class 10th from ICSE board. Now what should I do after class 12th if I dont want to apply for JEE. What should be my preferences in getting admission in a good government college for doing B.Tech especially in Delhi University ?

Dear Aspirant,

If you are aiming for doing Btech, then your only choice is to give JEE exam as it is the only option you have. So I suggest you should fill up the form for JEE. It is going to be conducted in January 22, 2019. The next attempt will be in April, 2020. The complete details are here:

how many marks or cutoff to take in 12th std board exam for apply engineering(B.E) in PSG college,coimbatore? and the JEE exam neccesary to join?

Hello

For NITs, IIITs and CFTIs admissions, the candidates should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. For SC/ST category, a minimum of 65% marks required.

can I prepar for NDA exam as per the JEE exam preparation?

Hey there

You can prepare jee mains and NDA written at the same time. Maths section of NDA exam is of jee level and you need to be very good at maths for getting good marks. For others you will have to put extra efforts buy books for NDA of Arihant it has got full concepts.
