    JEE Main 2026 April New Advisory- NTA has released a new JEE Main 2026 advisory for the April attempt. The notice is released on April 1, 2026, on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. It consists of the JEE Main exam day guidelines. Candidates must go through the JEE Main April 2026 new advisory before visiting the exam hall. The JEE Main 2026 exam will start from April 2. The authority will conduct the JEE Main exam on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, 2026, or BTech and April 7, 2026 for BArch/BPlan.

    JEE Main Exam Date 2026

    Candidates are advised to check their admit card carefully for the allotted JEE Main exam date 2026. According to the JEE Main 2026 April new advisory, the exam will be conducted between 2 April to 8. Since different dates are assigned for different papers and shifts, all aspirants should check their JEE Main admit card for important details.

    Documents to Carry for JEE Main April 2026 Exam

    • An original copy of the admit card in A4 size sheet

    • 2 clear passport-size photos

    • Photo ID ( a government-approved ID)

    • Attested certificate of JEE Main photo verification (non-Adhaar candidates or those with photo mismatch)

    • PwD certificate (if applicable)

    JEE Main 2026 April New Advisory - Exam Day Guidelines

    The authority has announced the following to candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2026 April session.

    • All aspirants must go through the JEE Main 2026 hall ticket carefully.

    • Candidates must reach the centre on time

    • They must carry valid ID proof

    • Follow security checks and act accordingly.

    • Candidates must reach the centre before the gate closing time.

    • To avoid delays, they are advised to visit the JEE Main 2026 exam centre a day before the test to know the route.

    • Non- Adhaar candidates will have additional security checks and formalities. Hence they must reach the centre at least 1 hour before.

    • Anyone who reaches later than the gate closing time will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

    • Sikh candidates will be allowed to carry their ‘Kara’ and ‘Kirpan’ to the exam hall as per the JEE Main 2026 dress code.

    • Candidates must lock their Aadhaar as the authority will do biometric registration linked to it.

    • Diabetic candidates can carry sugar tablets or fruits like apple, orange or bananas and transparent water bottles.

    • PwD candidates should also report early.

    • There will be mandatory frisking and biometric attendance each time a candidate takes a bio-break.

    • They must write their name and roll number on the rough sheet provided at the test centre.

    • They must drop off the rough sheets and admit card while leaving the exam hall.
