JEE Main 2027 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main aspirants need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the JEE Main exam. There is no age limit for the students. However, they must complete their 10+2 examination in 2025, 2026 or must be appearing in 2027. Here are some rules to be followed before going for JEE Main registration 2027.

• 10+2 or 2-year pre-university examination must be completed by a recognised Board and University. Students appearing in the final year of 10+2 are also eligible.

• Candidates who completed 2 years course in the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.

• Any examination in India or a foreign country which is recognised as equal to the 10+2 examination.

• Higher secondary certificate vocational examination.

• A diploma recognised by AICTE or a state board of technical education with at least 3 years duration.

• 10+2 from outside India, but should provide a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.

• Board of Open Schooling and skill education, sikkim.

JEE Main 2027 Application Form

The authority will release the session 1 JEE Main 2027 application form along with the notification as per previous years' trends. The JEE Main application process includes registration, creating login credentials, form filling, uploading all the required documents, selecting exam city, payment of application fees, etc.

How to Fill the JEE Main 2027 Application Process?

JEE Main students have to follow the procedure below step-by-step to complete the registration process for the JEE Main 2027 exam.

• Create Login ID: First, Candidates have to complete the JEE Main 2027 registration process by giving the correct details of their personal information, mobile number, email ID, etc. The login credentials will be created.

• Fill the Application form: Now login with your credentials and enter all the required academic details and personal data.

• Upload Documents: Scan and upload all the required important documents photograph.

• Exam City selection: Select the exam city from the number of options available.

• Payment of fees: Candidates must pay the application fee through an online payment method.

• Submit: After payments of fees, submit the application form. Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2027 Application Form Correction

The authority will allow the candidates to edit their application form. The JEE Main 2027 application form correction window will be opened for a specific time. During the form correction, students can change their details if they feel they entered incorrectly. Candidates have to log in to the application form correction window with their credentials like application number, password and date of birth.

JEE Main 2027 City Intimation Slip

The authority releases the JEE Main 2027 City Intimation slip before 1 to 2 weeks before the exam. The JEE Main city intimation slip gives information about the exam city in which the candidates' JEE Main exam will be conducted. After the release of city intimation slip, the JEE Main admit card is released.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Day Guidelines & Dress Code

All the JEE Main candidates who receive the admit card must follow the JEE Main exam guidelines and dress as mentioned on the hall ticket. Students who fail to follow the guidelines below will not be allowed to appear for the JEE Main exam.

• First, visit the exam centre one day before the exam to know the location and also to arrive on time.

• Reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam starts.

• Carry all the required documents, ID Proofs, photograph for the exam. However, the JEE Main admit card is mandatory and must be carried without fail.

• Don't bring electronic devices, gadgets, snacks, or prohibited items to the exam hall.

• Students who are wearing religious items must arrive early for frisking.

• Fill out the exam form, pas photograph, and add your left thumb impression before arriving.

• Follow the instructions and orders given by the invigilators at the exam.

• Candidates must sign and paste their photograph on the attendance sheet.

• PwD candidates must carry the relevant ID proofs and certificates issued by the competent authority.

JEE Main 2027 Dress Code for Male and Female Candidates

JEE Main male candidates and female candidates have to follow the prescribed dress code for the JEE Main 2027 exam. Students who don’t follow the JEE Main dress code will not be allowed to attempt the JEE Main exam 2027.

JEE Main Answer Key 2027

The authority will release the JEE Main answer key 2027 on the official website. First, the provisional answer key and response sheet will be released. Candidates who want to challenge the answers in the answer key can pay the fees and challenge through the JEE Main answer key challenge window. The final answer key of the JEE Main exam will be released later.

JEE Main 2027 Response Sheet

The authority will release the JEE Main response sheet along with the provisional answer key on the official website. Candidates can download the response sheet and estimate their probable score with the answers they have given during the exam. Candidates response sheet will contain questions and answers attempted at the time of the exam.
