NIT Nagaland Seat Matrix - JoSAA has released the NIT Nagaland 2025 seat matrix on the official website, josaa.admissions.nic.in. Candidates can check the NIT Nagaland seat matrix for the B.Tech program to make their preference of the courses during the JoSAA counselling. The seat matrix comprises the total number of seats reserved for each B.Tech course category-wise. A total of 201 seats are available for B.Tech programs at NIT Nagaland. For JEE Main 2026 session 2, candidates who passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023 or earlier are not eligible to appear for JEE Main 2026 session 2. The passing year is counted as the year in which a candidate is declared ‘pass’ for the first time in Class 12. Subsequent attempts, subject additions, or improvement exams will not be considered as a fresh passing year for eligibility purposes.

The following programmes are currently offered by the National Institute of Technology, Nagaland, for B.Tech admissions:
Candidates who qualify JEE Main have to participate in the common counselling process which is also known as JoSAA. During the registration process, the candidate has to select their preferred choice of college and course. Allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the allotment is done, the candidates have to confirm their admission by completing the process specified by the authorities.
