NIRF ranking is an official ranking system in India for ranking colleges, institutes and Universities. The ranking syste, rank college/universtiites based on multiple factors like teaching, research, graduation outcomes, outreach, and perception. Each colleges/university gets a score for these parameters, and then they are arranged in order from highest to lowest score within a category like Engineering, College, University, or Management. A college with a higher NIRF rank typically means the institution has performed better across academics, research, placements, and reputation for the given year. However, candidates must still check the particular college's branches, fees, location, and cutoff trends
The Ministry of Education publishes the NIRF ranking every year in their official website, nirfindia.org. It is an annual ranking methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank higher education institutions across the country.
