GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria
The authority has released the GATE eligibility 2027 on the official website. The eligibility of GATE 2027 consists of age, nationality, education qualification, and more.
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. NRIs who fulfil the eligibility criteria can also appear for GATE 2027.
Education qualification: Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized board can apply for the exam.

GATE Application Form Correction 2027
IIT Madras will start the GATE 2027 application form correction process on October 14, 2026. The GATEform correction process allows candidates to edit any incorrect details entered in the application form. Candidates will be able to access the form correction process through GOAPS 2027. However, to make the correction, candidates have to pay requisite fee; also they will be allowed to edit only a few details during the GATE 2027 form correction process. IIT Madras will release the admit card for GATE 2027 exam in January 2027. It is a mandatory document that all candidates must bring on the exam day. GATE exam hall ticket contains GATE 2027 exam date, time, venue, and basic details of candidates. Only candidates who will produce the admit card on the exam day will be granted entry to the exam hall. The autgorities will not send the GATE 2027 admit card.

GATE 2027 Result
IIT Madras will declare the result of GATE 2027 on March 19. Candidates can check their performance such as marks obtained, GATE score, and qualifying status in the GATE exam results. They can use their GATE 2027 scores for M.Tech admissions, PSU recruitment, and others. From January 1, 2028 onward, GATE scorecards will not be issued. The validity of GATE scorecard is 3 years.
