Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024 - KEA will announce the Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling schedule online. Candidates should visit the official website at, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in to register for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling. The Karnataka PGCET counselling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the assigned institutes. Candidates who qualify the Karnataka PGCET or have a valid GATE rank will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The allotment of seats will be based on the preferences of the candidates and the availability of seats.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Counselling - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who meet the Karnataka PGCET counselling eligibility criteria 2024 will be considered for the counselling process:
Students should have passed the qualifying degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category),
Candidates with valid GATE 2024 scores will be eligible to apply. Also, such candidates must have filled out and registered for Karnataka PGCET 2024,
Names of the candidates should appear in PGCET 2024 merit list (GATE and PGCET merit lists will be prepared separately. Preference will be given to GATE 2024 qualified candidates),
Candidates seeking admission in M Tech/ME (Part-Time) should have work experience of not less than 3 years.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024 - Important Tips
Candidates who will be applying for admission through the Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling process must keep the following points in mind:
- Candidates will have to visit the Karnataka PGCET counselling 2024 help centres as per their rank and schedule only.
- Students will have to carry all the requisite documents, both original and Xerox copies for verification to the help centres.
- They are advised to fill in choices in order of their preference. The seat allotment of Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be done only as per the choices filled based on the rank and category of students. Also, They should check and lock their choices before the last date.
- Candidates who will be allotted a seat in any round should download the provisional seat allotment letter and visit the allotted institute within the specified time.
- Students who do not visit the allotted institute within the date mentioned in the provisional Karnataka PGCET seat allotment letter 2024 will themselves be liable for the cancellation of their seats.
- Students who will be allotted a seat in the 1st round but wish to participate in the second round of counselling of Karnataka PGCET 2024 will have to first confirm the seat by the payment of the seat acceptance fees at the help centre.
- For claiming reservations under any category, they should submit proper certificates duly attested by prior authorization.
- The income certificate for claiming fee waiver must be recent and obtained from a competent authority on or after 01.01.2024.
- Applicants who will be applying for admission through GATE 2024 score, non-Karnataka candidates, and PwD candidates will have to visit the Bangalore help centre for the verification of documents.
- Candidates who will be applying for admission through GATE score 2024 will be required to apply online for the Karnataka PGCET 2024, however, they need not appear in the entrance test.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling Procedure 2024
Candidates will have to follow the procedure below while appearing for Karnataka PGCET 2024 counselling:
Karnataka PGCET 2024 Registration:
Students who will be applying for admission will have to visit the help centre for registration as per their ranks and schedule. The exam authorities will set up help centres across the state for all the processes regarding registration and counselling. Registration will be done using PGECET 2024 application number where candidates will have to submit all the details as requested. During the process of registration, candidates will be briefed on further counselling procedures by the officials conducting counselling of KEA PGCET 2024.
Document Verification:
Document verification is being done at the designated centre after the successful registration of Karnataka PGCET 2024 is done. Candidates will have to carry all the documents, both original and xerox copies to help centres. Also, candidates will be issued a document verification acknowledgment card and verification slip which they will have to retain till the entire admission process is over. Below is the list of document verification for PGCET 2024.
Documents required for PGCET verification are as follows:
- Printout of the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application form
- Karnataka PGCET 2024 Hall ticket
- GATE 2024 scorecard (if applying through GATE)
- Two passport-size recent colour photograph
- SSLC/Class 10 mark sheet

- Qualifying exam mark sheet and degree/provisional certificate
- Category certificate (In case applicable)

Assigning secret key for choice filling
Candidates who will be eligible for Karnataka PGCET 2024 seat allotment after document verification will be allotted a high-security key. All candidates will have used this high-security key to log in for choice filling.
They need to change their password right after logging in through the security key. Students are advised to carefully register their choices as per their order of preference and lock them before the last date, failing which the choices will be locked automatically.
Note: Candidates can enter any number of choices available to them and can also modify the list till final submission.
Mock Karnataka PGCET 2024 Seat Allotment: Mock Round
The mock seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET counselling is held to familiarize the students with the seat allotment procedure and give them an idea about their seat allotment. Candidates must note that the mock seat allotment is not considered for allotting seats.
Karnataka PGCET seat allotment 2024 result: First round
Karnataka Examination Authority allotted the seats based on merit prepared from the candidate’s score in the PGCET/GATE exam, category, and choice filled by them. Seats were allocated in priority to GATE-qualified candidates on an India basis without any reservation.
After the seat allotment of GATE-qualified candidates, the remaining seats are offered to PGCET/GATE candidates based on the reservation criteria for the Karnataka region in the order of merit. Candidates allotted a seat had an option of withdrawing from counselling after acceptance of the seat and move to the second round after accepting the seat or withdrawing from the counselling without accepting the seat.
Candidates were able to download the allotment letter and visit the allotted institute within the specified date & time to confirm their admission/seat. Candidates who wanted to appear in round 2 of counselling had the option of modifying their choice within a specified date and time.
Karnataka PGCET counselling 2024 and seat allotment: Second round
Candidates who did not get any seats in the first round were able to appear for the second round of counselling. All the procedures and criteria remained the same for the second round of Karnataka PGCET counselling 2024.
Reporting to allotted institute:
Candidates who will be allotted a seat after the 1st, 2nd or special round (if any) will have to go to the allotted institute in person directly within the specified date & time. They will be issued a seat allotment letter which candidates will be able to download by logging into the Karnataka PGCET 2024 Counselling portal.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be led by the first seven day stretch of July 2022, according to the earlier year's investigation. Following are the eligibility criteria of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2022 -
1. The candidates should have a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% score in any discipline from a recognized university, in accordance with the eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2022.
2. Students who are in the final year of their degree can also apply for the exam provided that all necessary appropriate documentation is submitted at the time of admission.
3. The minimum marks to be obtained should be at least 50%Â (for general category) and 45% (for SC / ST category).
4. Candidates must be a citizen of India.
5. There's n o age limit for candidates wishing to apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2022 .
