Analysis: The above table shows that more questions in Physics and Chemistry sections of JEE Main were from class XII, while Mathematics section had more questions from class XI syllabus.

What does it mean for JEE Main aspirants?

This means that while preparing for JEE Main, basic concepts of Physics and Chemistry from class 12th need to be strengthened more.

It also means that the syllabus of Mathematics in class XI needs to be studied thoroughly than Mathematics syllabus of class XII.

Caution: However, candidates must not ignore the importance of studying deeply (due to more weightage given to syllabus of either of the classes) and having conceptual clarity over the topics of all 3 subjects in both class XI and XII.

Give no. of solutions for the equation : (9/10)^x = -3 + x - x^2

Mayank Sinha 11th Dec, 2019
Hello shubham ,

The number of solution of this equation will
be zero. You can easily solve the questions using graphical method. Once you draw the graph of both the equation you will find that there is no intersection point between the curves hence no solution.
Hope this helps
