JEE Main NTA score 2026

NTA employs the normalization method to convert the raw JEE Main scores of the candidates into JEE Main percentile or NTA score. This ensures that there is an equal chance for candidates to get the score they deserve, despite each session of the JEE Main exam having different difficulty levels. The authority uses the following normalisation method to calculate the NTA score.

Formula - (100 x number of candidates who appeared in the session with raw score equal to or less than the candidate) / total number of candidates who appeared in that session

The authority will calculate the NTA scores for the cumulative score of all subjects in the JEE Main 2026 exam as well as the NTA Percentile for all three subjects individually. The NTA scores will also be used by the authority for JEE Main 2026 tie-breaking.

‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ In case you want to have access to the handwritten notes made by the JEE toppers, the most convenient manner is certainly by means of proper platforms which share the study material in a legal way. A good number of toppers have their notebooks uploaded on some educational apps or YouTube channels, and a few coaching institutes may offer compilation notes either for free or upon registration. Also, you can visit official JEE preparation forums where students share their handwritten notes for the convenience of others without any charges.

When you are downloading notes, it is always better to check if the source is trustworthy and the files are genuine because if you take the incomplete or incorrect notes, it will have an impact on your preparation. A more secure choice would be to look at the toppers' plans and brief notes that are written in the form of books or PDFs by the known coaching institutes. Never forget to combine such notes with the questions of previous years and mock tests so that your preparation will be complete. ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌

If your Aadhaar photo doesn’t match your live capture photo on your JEE Main 2026 form, fix it during the correction window. The National Testing Agency lets you update things like personal details and photos at that time. If you leave the mismatch, you’ll probably run into trouble during verification at the exam center. So, make things easier for yourself—get your correct photo and Aadhaar details ready, and upload them as soon as the correction window opens. If the window’s not open yet, just sit tight and watch for the official announcement. Don’t fill out another form, or you’ll risk creating duplicate applications.
