    JEE Main Passing Marks 2026 - With the conclusion of JEE Main session 1 exam, candidates must know what the passing marks are. The latest trends indicate the expected percentile ranges for the General category from 93 to 95, 81 for EWS, 80 to 82 for OBC-NCL, 60 to 62 for SC and 47 to 49 for ST. These values represent the expected qualifying marks needed to appear for JEE Advanced only. Note that NTA does not determine the qualifying status in the form of passing marks. Instead, the JEE Main qualifying percentile is released. The final JEE Main 2026 passing marks data can be known only after the result is declared. The JEE Main session 1 result will be out by February 12, 2026. NTA has released the JEE Main answer key for session 1 on the official website.

    The best of two JEE Main 2026 attempts will be considered while determining the JEE Main passing marks. Note that NTA does not release raw marks in the JEE Main result.
