JEE Main January 2025: The National Testing Agency(NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2025 January session correction window dates on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to the notification, the correction window for the JEE Main 2025 application form will be available from November 26 to 27, 2024. The last date to submit the JEE Main 2025 application form is November 22, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 application form link has been activated online. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements can apply for Joint Entrance Examination Main. The authority will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam for session 1 from January 22 to 31, 2025 and session 2 from April 1 to 8, 2025.

Notably, the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern for Section B has been updated, and candidates must now attempt all five questions per subject without any optional choices in Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlanning). The detailed notification for the JEE Main 2025 exam dates will be available on the official websites, nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who qualify in the JEE Main 2025 can apply for admission to the B.Tech & B.Arch courses offered in IIITs, NITs, CFTIs, and other institutes that accept the JEE Main scores. Candidates need to appear for the IIT JEE Main January 2025 entrance exam and qualify for the exam. The qualifying candidates have to participate in the JEE Main counselling process. However, candidates who are among the top 2,50,000 candidates will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced exam for admission at IITs.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 application form correction window dates for the January session on its official website. As per the notification, the correction window will be open from November 26 to 27, 2024. The last date to submit the January session application form is November 22, 2024. Step 1: Registration - the first step, candidates will have to register by entering personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, qualifying exam roll number, etc. along with entering the contact details. Candidates will also have to create a password and answer a security question. After successful registration, an application number will be generated.

Step 2: Filling of Application Form- After registration, candidates will have to log in to the candidate portal using their Application number and password to fill in all other required details of the application form including state code of eligibility, category, preference of exam cities, educational details and parent’s income details.

Step 3: Uploading Documents- After filling in all the details of the application form, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, and Class 12th admit card or mark sheet as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

Step 4: Payment of Application fee- In the next step, candidates will be required to pay the application fee of JEE Main 2025 online mode through debit/credit card or internet banking.

JEE Main January Exam Centres 2025

The authority has released the list of JEE Main 2025 exam centres for the January session along with the official brochure. The allotment of JEE Main January 2025 exam centres will be done based on choices filled by the candidates and the availability of seats. Candidates have to fill in four choices of exam centres while filling out the application form. The details of the exam centres will be communicated to the candidates via admit cards. The JEE Main 2025 January session exam pattern has been updated on the official website. According to the revised paper pattern, the exam structure will return to its original format. Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning) for the JEE Main 2025 exam.

The authority has published the JEE Main 2025 January syllabus on the official website. Candidates must know about the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus to prepare a study plan for the exam. Knowledge of the JEE Main 2025 January syllabus will help the candidates to study the right topics for the exam. The syllabus of JEE Main 2025 is based on the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects of Class 11th and 12th for the B.E/B.Tech exam. The syllabus of B.Arch and B.Plan is based on Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing/Planning subjects.

JEE Main January Admit Card 2025

NTA will release the JEE Main January session admit card for the B.Tech at the official website. The JEE Main admit card for BArch & BPlanning (Paper 2A/2B) date will be announced online. JEE Main January Mock Test 2025

NTA will provide the JEE Main 2025 mock tests on its official website nta.ac.in. Candidates can access JEE Main mock tests through the website by clicking on the mock test link. Candidates can practice these mock tests online and can also download them. These mock tests are based on the actual pattern of the JEE Main exam 2025 and give the real feel of the examination to the candidates.

Attempting more and more mock tests of JEE Main 2025 will help the candidates understand the level of questions asked in the exam and will also help them analyze their preparations. Candidates can also attempt JEE Main January mock tests through the Test Practice Centres (TPC) set by NTA across the country.

JEE Main January Answer Key 2025

The authorities will release the JEE Main answer key online. Upon release of JEE Main January 2025 answer key, candidates will be given a chance to raise objections in case they find any errors in it. To raise objections, candidates will be required to visit the official website by paying the required processing fee along with uploading documents supporting their objections. JEE Main January Result 2025

NTA will declare the JEE Main 2025 results for both the papers & both sessions online. JEE Main 2025 results include the subject-wise NTA scores of the candidates along with their overall NTA score. As the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate using normalization. JEE Main 2025 Rank list

The authorities will prepare the rank list of JEE Mains 2025 after the completion of all the sessions. The NTA scores for each of the candidates will be merged for the compilation of results and preparation of the overall rank list/merit list. For candidates who will appear for all the sessions of JEE Mains 2025, the ranking will be determined by considering their best of all NTA scores. The JEE Main rank list will be released in online mode. Also, inter se merit will be prepared in case of the same marks of two or more candidates.

JEE Main 2025 Cutoff

The authorities will release the cutoff of JEE Main in online mode. JEE Main cutoff 2025 will include admission cutoffs and qualifying cutoffs. The admission cutoff 2025 is the minimum marks required by the candidates to get admission in IIITs, NITs, CFITs, and other participating institutes of NTA JEE Main 2025 while the minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025 will form the qualifying cutoff. JEE Main 2025 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 counselling. The authorities will commence the JEE Main counselling 2025 after the declaration of final result of the exam. JEE Main 2025 Reservation Criteria

The authorities provide certain reservations to candidates for admission in the participating institutes based on their categories. The following table can be referred to know the reservation criteria for JEE Main 2025.

Admission to NITs, CFITs, IIITs, and Other Participating Institutes

The admission of candidates in B.Tech/B.Arch/B. Plan courses through CSAB in NITs, IIITs, and CFITs will be based on the All India Rank of the candidate provided he/she should have passed in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. The minimum eligibility criteria in 10+2 for the general category is 75% and for SC/ST candidates is 65%.

For B.Arch admissions in institutes other than NITs, IIITs, and CFITs; the Council of Architecture (COA) has the following criteria-

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination.

For B.Planning, candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with 5 % marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination.

Admission to other institutes

If a state opts to admit students in engineering Colleges affiliated to State universities, it may prepare a separate rank list based on criteria decided by them.

JEE Main 2025 Participating Institutes

Institutes that take admission based on JEE Main 2025 are the participating institutes of the exam. JEE Mains participating institutes 2025 list will be released along with the official notification. The JEE Main participating institutes for last year included the National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). There are 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 CFTIs in the country.

Query Redressal System (QRS)

NTA has set up an online query redressal system for candidates where they can ask any query related to JEE Mains 2025. The system has been created for the quick redressal of the queries/grievances of the candidates. A Unique Registration Number will be provided to candidates on raising a query to track the status of the query/grievance.
