JEE Main Jan 24 shift 1: Candidates who have attempted the Jan 24 shift 1 paper found it easier in comparison to yesterday's shift. However, despite being easy, it was time-consuming due to the question's length. The paper difficulty level was Math, Physics, and Chemistry.
JEE Main Jan 24 shift 2: Applicants participating in the Jan 24 shift 2 exam commented that the shift was moderate. The Chemistry and Math paper was the toughest and most time-consuming. Similar to the previous shift Math paper has lengthy questions which required time for calculation.

Yes, you can apply for JEE Mains while you are in 12th class. While filling the application form, make sure you state clearly that you are 'Appearing' in 12th boards. You need to also make
decent chances actually as home state quota seats are 50%. allotments will depend on the JEE rank and not percentile though. in 2025, for female supernumerary it closed at 9286 rank while for open gen it closed at 5573.
