The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the JEE Advanced 2026 result on June 1, 2026. According to the result, Shubham Kumar has come up as the JEE Advanced AIR 1 with 330/360. He has managed to secure the position with his consistent dedication and discipline. Shubham is a resident of Gaya, Bhar and a regular student at a private coaching institute in Kota for the last two years. He states that preparing for JEE brings pressure, but never let it become a weakness. He turned every challenge into motivation.

Q. First of all, big congratulations! How does it feel to secure AIR 1 in JEE Advanced 2026?
Ans: Thank you very much. I am happy to secure rank 1 in JEE Advanced 2026; it's like a dream come true. All our hard work has really paid off.
Q. What is your family’s reaction to this great achievement of yours?
Ans: My whole family is very happy and in a celebratory mood. My family played an important role throughout my entire journey. Both my parents have supported me constantly throughout my journey. My elder sister has also helped me a lot while preparing for the exam.
Q. What motivated you to pursue JEE Advanced 2026?
Ans: My biggest motivation will be my elder sister, who is pursuing Computer Science at IIT Patna. I learned how to study, maintain notes and solve modules from her. She has been my mentor through my JEE exam journey.
Q. What's your take on the JEE Advanced 2026 exam preparation strategy?
Ans: One must never give in to pressure, though one faces lots of pressure while preparing for the exam. Also, discussing problems with your peers will definitely help to improve, since students learn from one another's mistakes.
Q. What was your rank in JEE Main 2026?
Ans: My rank in JEE Main 2026 is 6; I secured a total of 295 out of 300.
Q. After the JEE Main 2026 result, how does your preparation strategy for JEE Advanced look?
Ans: My preparation strategy for JEE Advanced 2026 was to focus on six to eight hours of self-study every day, revising classroom topics the same day and practising questions regularly. Nobody can study 18 hours a day. One must not exhaust their energy by overstudying.
Q. What are your plans after JEE Advanced 2026?
Ans: I want to pursue Computer Science at IIT Bombay. This has been my dream since my school days.
Q. Any advice for future JEE Advanced aspirants?
Ans: Yes, I would advise future aspirants to trust their teachers, keep revising every day, and never, never stop working on the weak areas.
