Gujarat PGCET cutoff 2019 - The Admission Committee for Professional Courses, ACPC will release the Gujarat PGCET 2019 Cutoff tentatively in last week of July for admission in M.Tech courses in the state. The Gujarat PGCET Cutoff will be formulated on the basis of total number of candidates appeared and passed in PGCET/GATE, available seats and last year cutoff trend. The conducting body will prepare two separate Gujarat PGCET cutoff 2019, one for GATE qualified candidates and other for the Gujarat PGCET 2019 qualified candidates. Two rounds of centralised counselling will be conducted by ACPC for allotting seats to candidates in all the participating institutes. The ACPC will prepare merit list separately for GATE candidates, PGCET candidate and reserved category candidates. The admission will be offered in the order of merit, firstly for GATE qualified candidates then for Gujarat PGCET 2019 qualified candidates and reserved category candidates. Priority is given to the candidates of Gujarat nativity and seats which remain vacant thereto will be filled from other state candidates. Gujarat PGCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria: Students who are applying for admission in M.Tech course through PGCET/GATE must meet the below-mentioned criteria apart from clearing the Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019

  • Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidate)

  • Candidate must have passed/qualified GATE in relevant discipline with a valid score. 

  • For sponsored candidate, minimum two years of relevant work experience for the discipline applying for admission.

Reservation of Seats: The ACPC has reserved certain number of seats for Gujarat origin candidates and belonging to reserved categories. Student can find below the details of reservation criteria for each category

Factors determining Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019: The ACPC formulates Gujarat PGCET 2019 Cutoff on the the below mentioned criteria

  • Total number of students appeared and qualified in GATE 

  • Total number of seats available for admission

  • Previous year’s cutoff trends

Total Seats in Gujarat PGCET 2019: The ACPC conducts counselling for allotting 100% of available seats in government/government aided institutes while only 75% of available seats in self financed colleges is filled by ACPC. Candidates who clears the Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019 can take part in counselling and seat allotment process of both the category of colleges. Admission Procedure : Candidates who would clear the Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019 and will be applying for admissions can find below the complete step by step process of admission after announcement of Gujarat PGCET 2019 Cutoff

  • The admission committee will prepare a merit list of all the candidates who have submitted application form and paid the requisite fees.

  • Merit list will be formulated separately for GATE, Gujarat PGCET 2019 and reserved category students.

  • Merit list will be published in the official website of ACPC and students whose name appears in merit list shall be able to take part in counselling

  • Candidate have to fill their choices of colleges, in order of preference and lock them within the specified date and time.

  • Seats will be allotted in the order of merit as per category, rank and choices filled by candidates.

  • Students has to pay the seat confirmation fees after the seat allotment for confirming their seats.

  • Student must report to allotted institute within specified date and time failing which admission will get cancelled

Documents Required for Admission : Candidates who clear the Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019 and is allotted a seat in seat allotment round have to bring the below mentioned documents at the time of admission in college

  • Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates

  • Qualifying degree statement of marks and degree/provisional certificate

  • GATE/PGCET 2019 score card

  • Category certificate (For candidates claiming reservation)

  • Ex-servicemen certificate from Sainik Welfare Board and Certificate from Commandant in case of serving parent

  • Certificate of physical disability certified by the concerned authority

  • Sponsorship letter in case applying for sponsored seat

Important Instructions to Students : Candidates who clear the Gujarat PGCET Cutoff 2019 and would be participating in Gujarat PGCET 2019 must adhere to the below mentioned points

  • Students must register online for participating in Gujarat PGCET 2019 Counselling 2019.

  • Completely filled application form along with all the documents must be verified by visiting help centres.

  • Students must fill their choices in order of preference and lock them within due date and time.

  • Seats will be allotted in the order of merit, on the basis of choices filled and category of candidates.

  • Students who will be allotted a seat will have to pay the seat confirmation fees for confirming the allotted seat.

  • Student must visit the allotted institute for completing the admission process within specified date and time.
