Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Assam Science and Technology (ASTU) will be responsible for the release of the detailed Assam CEE 2020 eligibility criteria. Assam CEE 2020 will be conducted tentatively in the last week of April as a pen and paper test. Registrations for Assam CEE 2020 will be open tentatively from the first week of March.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of Assam CEE 2020 before commencing the application form. Assam CEE 2020 eligibility criteria will consist of the requirements and conditions that the candidates will have to meet for admissions into the participating institutes. If the candidates are not able to satisfy the criteria set by the authorities, then they will be disqualified from the admission process.
Candidates should be less than 17 years of age as on August 2020. Maximum age limit is 21 years.
Age relaxation of 3 years in given to SC/ST category candidates.
Candidates who have completed B.Sc degree will be eligible for one year age relaxation.
Should be of Indian nationality.
The candidates should have permanent residency of Assam.
Should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or any other equivalent examination.
The examination should have been passed individually in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English without any grace marks.
Candidates should have appeared for all subjects in the examination
General category candidates should have scored an aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
SC category candidates are required to score 45% aggregate marks whereas for ST category candidates will have to secure 40% marks.
The candidates are expected to possess good moral character.

The application form of Assam CEE 2020 will be available tentatively from the first week of March. To participate in the examination and admission process, the candidates will have to submit the application form before the final date. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and communication details. Uploading of scanned images should also be done as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
