Assam CEE Counselling 2020 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam will conduct the counselling of Assam CEE 2020 in offline mode in June. To participate, candidates who will qualify Assam CEE 2020 exam will have to report at the designated venue according to the procedure. The university will release a separate notification after the result announcement mentioning the process involved, dates and the venue of Assam CEE 2020 counselling. The counselling will be conducted as per the merit list; if there are vacant seats left after Phase I subsequent rounds may be held. The seat will be allotted to candidates as per their merit rank in Assam CEE, courses and colleges preference and availability of seats. Candidates must note that they have to report to the specified institutes for participating in Assam CEE counselling for seat allotment and admission process. The counselling will commence tentatively from the second week of June. The eligible and shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the counselling of Assam CEE 2020 according to the schedule. Candidates will have to first pay the counselling fee of Rs. 700 as requisite. The counselling will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to visit the counselling venue along with the filled forms (A, B, C) and photocopies/ original documents at the allotted time and date.
Candidates are required to take a printout of the Assam CEE 2020 counselling form on A4 paper and fill all relevant fields. The form will be divided into three parts - A, B, and C. It will be mandatory for the candidates to fill all the parts duly and separately. Candidates will have to fill the following details:
Name of the candidate
Mother and father name
Occupation of father/guardian
Annual income of parents
Permanent home address
Candidate’s age as on August 1, 2020
State where the candidate is a permanent resident
Extra-Curricular Activities & Proficiency
University/Board/Council Registration No./Board/Year of Registration
Details of the non-domicile candidate’s parents who are in service under Govt./Statutory Organization/Department Bodies.
Name of State/Administration (if applied against reserved seats)
Whether the candidate is son/daughter of employee/ex-employee of DTE Assam
Examination Roll No. Of University/Board Council last appeared/passed
Details of Qualified Exams
Percentage of Marks Obtained in Qualifying Examination

Candidates who will get shortlisted and whose names will appear in the merit list will have to fill the counselling form and follow the steps of the further counselling procedure. Candidates can refer to the steps of the counselling procedure of Assam CEE 2020 given below:
Step 1- Counselling fee payment- Candidates will have to pay Rs. 600 as counselling fee at the time of counselling.
Step 2- Reporting to counselling venue: Candidates will be called as per the category-wise merit rank for counselling procedure
Step 3- Verification of documents: Candidates will have to produce original documents at the time of verification.
Step 4- Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of merit, category and options selected for admission by the candidates, seats will be allotted to them.
Apart from the Assam CEE 2020 counselling form, the following documents have to be carried by the candidates in original and photocopies:
Admit card of Assam CEE 2020
10th standard qualifying examination admit card or pass certificate (for age proof issued by Board/Council)
Four copies of recent passport size photograph
10th standard mark sheet
12th standard admit card
12th standard mark sheet
Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) (to be issued by D.C./S.D.O (Civil) of concerning district/sub-division)
Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
Academic gap Certificate (if applicable)
Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
